Quitting Facebook/Insta/Youtube

Hello friends and followers, by now you may have been wondering why I haven't posted in a while; well, while being here in London and witnessing the soul-crushingly disappointing results of the recent elections, I've been doing some soul-searching and in light of both recent and a slow buildup of events over this decade I've decided to delete my Facebook page, Instagram and Youtube account.

Both Facebook and Youtube have proven time and again that they have no problem amplifying the most destructive and vicious opinions that have no basis in reality to the most susceptible people that their algorithms dictate. So I can no longer in good conscience be a pawn of these companies that in any way to boost there profits or increase their user-base.

Good news is that there is still my website https://www.thetravellingimproviser.com and I will be searching for more ethical social media sites (do any exist?) to share my photos and stories (any tips would be appreciated)

In other news I'm flying to Morocco tomorrow and starting a new adventure in 2020!
