“The lube.”

“Nineteen is here. He’s recharging his energy levels. We sort of already had a discussion of our own about concerns he had.” She raised her head slightly to nod at one of the doors behind her. “He’s resting, so why don’t we run that detox.”

“I-” What else could be said? Was he just going to barge in and demand to see Nineteen while both needed a little more time to collect their thoughts? No. Fifteen needed the detox first. “Okay. That’s fine.”

“Which one are you again?”

“Haha! Oh wait.. Which one was that again? All of them? ‘Can’t even make a goddamn android the right way.. How the Hell did you manage to become so ‘important’ in the army? Who’s dick did ya have to suck in order for you to get funding for your toy soldier fetish?”

“Oh, wait-”

“I’ll kill you, you sonovabitch- *HIC!*”

“I…” The pale android grips tightly onto the couch, feeling an overwhelming amount of pressure in his chest. “This is not how I anticipated the conversation to go…”

“I wanted to work things out with you, but since you’re so goddamn unhappy with me... MAYBE YOU SHOULD JUST CRAWL BACK TO THE DOCTOR LIKE THE GOOD DOG YOU ARE.” 

“This does not feel right.. Every time I am close to feeling complete, thoughts of Gero surface. It is within my programming. It makes me regret-” He stops speaking, closing his mouth tightly. He does not dare look to the android, hoping he hasn’t caught on to what Nineteen was going to say. 

“Please tell me..” “You regret our relationship.” “I DARE YOU.”

“I am sorry, Fifteen..” Nineteen shakes his head apologetically. “I am not a very good liar..” 

“You’re not happy..? Really? Then what has been goin’ on these past few months, huh? Have you been playin’ me, Nineteen? Were you just pretending all those times I seemingly made you happy?”
