Being a teacher means yes, I’m on break. Yes, the work still has to be done, break or not. But, it’s not nearly as stressful because it’s all at my own pace. Don’t feel sorry for me. Be happy I feel good about my rest and my work.

The longest I’ve stayed awake over the past five days is six hours. I was pushing it, fighting the exhaustion to get that.

Today I have to go back to campus and try to stay awake for eight hours plus commute, shower, etc.
