Pooklet’s September Face templates as non-defaults!

Okay, maybe I have other things today than shitposts XD Although, I worked on this set for 3 months which is ridiculous, so have a laugh!

So these actually didn’t have any lods to begin with, so I hope no one is playing in low definition (I’ve never in my life seen the lod sim faces, so I guess we’re safe). You can see the faces better in Pooklet’s original post! And as usual, please tell me if something is not working! :)

Part one of my “ooh, what’s this”? project. I’ve been poking around random folders and I was wondering what was in all of those “locale” folders. It turns out that for ts2 basegame and the stories games, the Japanese, Korean, and Traditional Chinese locale folders contain bin.bundles. And inside these bins? Sims! I’ve never seen them anywhere in-game so I guess they only show up if you install using those languages? idk. Each bundle has 6 sims, one M and one F from teen-elder. 

I extracted them exactly as-is into their own sims2packs and uploaded them with their portraits. Pictured without any custom content or defaults. They come without any CC and shouldn’t require any expansions/stuff packs, but clean installer is always recommended anyway. :)

Hello I am deliriously tired and chronically ill-ing at top capacity. Have some painting add ons because why not 😂 I needed small artworks to go on the table at my pride stall by the market, so I made some. Tiny versions of Artig, and a couple of small Bella's without any frame using the artig side/back to make it a free canvas. And then Epi mentioned wishing for alien surf frame add on to match their Artig frame add ons, so I made those and here we are.

Costs range from 49 to 110 simoleons. They are in deco/wall because where else would they be. Magnifying glasses to see the tiny are sold separately.

CuriousB "The Snake and the Moon" Eyeshadow Alpha-Edited - Rainbow

I love CuriousB's "The Snake and the Moon" eyeshadows and have been using them in my game forever. It wouldn't surprise me if someone has done something similar to this before, if you have - sorry!

The originals are in the blush category and used to layer with other eyeshadows. Though I wanted an eyeshadow in the eyeshadow category that only touched the upper part of the eye, not the lower. (Turns out, for whatever reason, I had none of those.) So I edited the alpha myself to remove the eyeshadow under the eye.

I will probably make more colors. For now, though, I figured, hey, it's Pride month, why not use the rainbow flag colors? So I did.

As soon as I saw this Clown Costume by Hazelpuff I tought "Oh that means I get a chance to make another horror icon!" and here we go!

I changed the costume mesh replacing the big collar with a smaller one and I added the cap, hat and gloves. Collar, cap and hat are 4to2 conversions from Dr. Borpo's Film Pit.

The glasses are a separate accessory, the mesh is also from Borpo's but I changed the dimension, shape and texture because I wanted them to be bigger and more detailed. They can be wear also by females and teens, while the costume is just for adult males (it has morphs tough!).

The make up is made by me.

FT Artig Framed Add-ons

Artig is my go-to mesh for vertical painting recolors and I don't think we've yet had framed add-ons for it! So I gave it frames in four different sizes: original, 75%, 50%, and 25%.

Oh and I stole the frame mapping from @pforestsims' sim noir add-on, so the wooden bits are repo'd to the Ikea MALM end table.

UPDATE: CINEMA SECRETS LIGHTING MOD

NOTE: This will be the last feature update for Cinema Secrets. I will be focusing more on my newer Cozy Home lighting mod moving forward.

Made lots of improvements to the matching the lot to the surrounding area (best used with @christaskyy's lot skirt shader) and matched the roads as best I could. This also means Cinema Secrets and Cozy Home share the same configuration for the Seasons and the Time of Day states. Only the actual lights differ in both.

KNOWN ISSUE: unfortunately, I can't get the roads for 6pm lighting to match without losing the pink sunset, so this is the best I could get the lighting to match

Added in the Light Direction files available in all lighting mods (both in regular and "world lit by fire" mode). Make sure to update your userStartup.cheat files with the updated lines in userStartup.cheat contained in the zip folder.

Fixed vacation night lighting (accidentally put in the configuration for the morning lighting. Sorry about that!)

Ported a lot of fixes from my newer Cozy Home lighting mod especially with morning and evening lighting.

Added in the light replacement for neighborhood and lot night light replacement in the 4.0 folder. Make sure to put these in your Downloads folder otherwise nights will not look right.

Changed default roomLightingType to 5

Moved the light definitions from Base Game to M&G because the lights don't look right when overlapping on top of the other

Elder female update to my Less Gendered Faces as I just wasn’t happy with them anymore.

I took the difference between AM>EM, created a WSO from it, & applied it to AF Base to get EF Base, edited THAT a bit, then created a WSO from AF>EF & ran it on all the other faces in the set. The aging changes are a bit more subtle than the previous version; the eyes sink in & get a bit more tired-looking, the cheeks & jowls sag a bit, the mouth corners turn down, & the nose gets a bit bigger.

It’s actually fairly similar to the edit that @ixals did HERE, but for whatever reason I can’t leave good enough alone ever & have to get my grubby hands on every aspect of my game all the time.

This is the full package, including all the face fixes for broken/hidden templates as well, but I’m keeping it separate from the old one in case you prefer that. All other ages/genders remain the same as shown in the previous post & the only changes made are to the EF face.

Why did I do this?

I wanted the male/female versions of each face to look like they’re opposite-gender twins instead of…maybe cousins at best?

I was tired of marrying in Hot Female Goopy Face to my legacy & ending up with Male Goopy Children.

I wanted them to still be EAXIS UGLY.

Sims2 Synthwave Collection 3 Walls and Floors

Big, colorful patterns on walls and floors.

7 linoleum, 2 carpets, and 6 wallpapers (patterns split, 11 total wallpapers).

I get a little obsessed trying to preserve the best quality wall patterns from tiny patterns.

Most wall patterns are split over 2 walls, labeled PART A and PART B.

Originally, I created wallpapers size 256x768 (best for my game), and sacrificed vertical continuity (don't use in open, multi-story spaces).

I knew one day I'd want vertically seamless options, so 3 months later I have created seamless 256x512 walls. This is good news for MAC users, who will now be able to use these walls.
