If it’s one thing I hate about being a (multi)fictive, it’s missing people you have a pretty slim chance of ever meeting (sourcemates-wise)

Like, what do you MEAN I’m a fictive of Chaos (Sonic Adventure) and I miss Tikal 💔

Furthermore, most of the Sonics I’ve spoken to don’t even have Sonic Adventure-related memories, let alone ones regarding a Chaos in their canon

A few questions for you today !

1. Do you ever feel fake because of the amount of characters you’re a fictive of ? Self-explanatory, really LMAO

2. Do you find yourself becoming a fictive of a character you previously considered a favorite ? If so, are they still a favorite of yours ? I hate when this happens because I don’t know if this is a “Do I want them or do I want to be them” situation, or if I’m secretly on the right track to uncover source memories I didn’t even know I had

3. How do you know if you’re actually a fictive of a character, or if you’re just using some strange involuntary form of escapism ? Asking because I’m starting to possibly ficsider (???) ANOTHER character, and it feels a little strange to worry about MORE canons I don’t even have memories for

4. Do you separate yourself from the characters you’re a fictive of, or do you consider you and the character to be one in the same ? I personally feel a bit distant from them myself, and I feel kinda fake because of it

Does anyone else feel like less of a system because you don’t switch often / at all ?

The last time I (most likely ??) switched was during a particularly stressful time that had to do with our trauma

I don’t fully remember what happened during that time, so I’m assuming it was a switch where I blacked out or something

We aren’t in NEARLY as bad of a situation as we were in then, so I guess we don’t need to switch anymore, but I’m kinda tired of feeling like I’m lacking in some way and I’m not an actual system since I’m always stuck here in front

I’m dealing with a LOT of gender dysphoria because of the body right now, and I need somebody to take my place, but I’m not sure how to successfully switch yet because of the fear aspect I mentioned in a previous post

To my fellow multifictives, do you ever feel more like one character compared to another sometimes ?

I’m not really sure what to call it, but it kinda feels like kin shifts ??

It usually happens when I’m focused on getting memories for that specific canon

I become a little more connected to source, and I feel more like “myself,” or that character I’m a fictive of, ETC, ETC

How do I get rid of the fear of letting others co-front or completely front without me ?

I’m worried that somebody’ll do something that’ll get EVERYBODY in trouble, and then I’ll have to deal with it because I’m the host and I deal with everything 💔

.. I wonder if anyone else relates to how embarrassing constantly forgetting you’re apart of a system is LMAO

I’m stuck in the control room in our headspace all the time since there’s nowhere else to be, so ??

People don’t walk into the CTRL-R very often, and it usually ends up being the same people anyways (Surge, Cream, one of the many Sonics in this system, ETC.)

There’s a void outside the CTRL-R with doors that lead to rooms for the other sysmates, but none of them are labeled or marked, so finding specific people may be pretty hard 💔

I gatekeep others from switching with me because Jackie (Tails) kinda messed something up and co-fronted with me by complete mistake, so we were awkwardly unable to move the body at all until I visualized Jackie moving my body within headspace, which helped me regain control of the body again somehow ??

I’m a multifictive, so I have a lot of different sources, but this specific one I’m finding sourcemates for is my WISLHM (or “What If Sonic Lost His Memory,” a What-If? series you can find on YT ) canon !

Basically, I fell down to earth in Shadow’s place, had a pretty cool Super Form (mainly gold with orange, red, and purple highlights - I think I even had fluffy glove cuffs, kinda like the Werehog), and suffered from semi-amnesia

I’m unsure if Eggman was an enemy of mine ?? He probably was, but you’re free to interact if you are him *

I’m mainly looking for Rouge and Omega, whom I have positive feelings of, but please do also interact if you’re anyone besides them *

I don’t necessarily have memories of them, but the vibes are there *

I’m not too interested in meeting doubles of Sonic atm, but interact if you wanna !
