The Confluence viewing deck at the @SANParks Mapungubwe Heritage site. This is the point where three countries joining - South African, Botswana and Zimbabwe. Behind me is an island that forms part of Botswana. On the other side of the island, that is Zimbabwe. To my left is the Shashe River that flows from Francistown in Botswana. On the right, that is the Limpopo River. This is the point where the Limpopo and the Shashe meet. On the Zimbabwean side, there are villages there that depend on these 2 rivers. A few metres up stream it is Botswana where that part of the country is a nature reserve.
