We had the pleasure of providing walima photography and videography services for a lovely Bangladeshi couple on one of the happiest days of their lives at Ardoe House Hotel & Spa in Aberdeen, Scotland.
Although we have been providing engagement, wedding photography, and wedding videography services for nearly 14 years, with experience covering many different cultural weddings including walima, nikkah, Bangladeshi, Pakistani, Indian, African, Nigerian, Ghanaian, and traditional English weddings, this was our very first time visiting the beautiful city of Aberdeen for a wedding shoot.

Over the years, we have worked in many cities across the UK and Europe, capturing pre-wedding shoots, bridal events, luxury weddings, and multicultural celebrations. However, Aberdeen gave us a unique and peaceful atmosphere that made this walima celebration even more memorable.
Before this walima celebration, we had also provided photography and videography services for this wonderful couple’s wedding at Northbrook Park Wedding Venue in Hampshire. Their Northbrook Park wedding had a more classic and elegant style, beautifully combined with traditional cultural elements. That event was hosted by the bride’s family, while the Aberdeen walima celebration was organised by the groom’s side.

Our journey in Aberdeen started early in the morning with bridal hair, makeup preparation, and elegant bridal portrait photography. After capturing some beautiful moments inside the venue, we moved outside for romantic couple portraits and cinematic video shots around the stunning scenery of Ardoe House Hotel before the guests arrived.
As the walima celebration began and the guests entered the ballroom, we captured every important moment throughout the day, including the couple’s grand entrance, guest interactions, speeches, cake cutting, family portraits, and group photography and videography.
The couple also received heartfelt marriage advice and warm wishes from their elderly family members, including their parents and relatives. During the celebration, an imam led the Islamic wedding prayers and blessings for the newly married couple.
By the end of the day, the couple looked incredibly happy, although understandably tired after such an emotional and joyful celebration. We also had the opportunity to enjoy some delicious traditional Bangladeshi dishes served during the walima reception.

We had the pleasure of providing wedding photography, wedding videography, and bridal hair and make-up services for this lovely and friendly Hong Kong couple as they celebrated their intimate wedding at Wandsworth Town Hall in South West London.
Before the ceremony began, our professional bridal hair and make-up artist visited the bride at her family home in Wandsworth. We created an elegant bridal hairstyle and natural wedding make-up look to complement her style perfectly. It was especially convenient as her home was only around a 10-minute walk from Wandsworth Town Hall, allowing for a relaxed and stress-free wedding morning.
While we regularly cover large weddings lasting 8, 10, or even 12 hours, we are equally experienced in small and intimate town hall weddings. Over the years, we have provided wedding photography, wedding videography, and bridal hair and make-up services at many of the most popular registry offices and town halls across London and throughout the United Kingdom.

Following the ceremony, we created a series of romantic couple portraits and cinematic wedding video scenes inside Wandsworth Town Hall. The magnificent marble columns, grand staircase, and elegant architecture provided a timeless backdrop for their photographs and films.
After the family members departed for the wedding dinner celebration, we accompanied the couple to nearby King George’s Park. Located just a short distance from the town hall, the park offered beautiful green surroundings and a peaceful atmosphere for additional portrait photography and videography.
We were fortunate to enjoy a stunning sunset during the session, with warm golden light and colourful skies creating beautiful imagery for the couple’s wedding collection.
Our journey with this sweet couple lasted approximately two hours of photography and videography coverage, following three hours of professional bridal hair and make-up preparation. It was a wonderful experience documenting their love story, and we were delighted that they loved their final wedding photographs and films.

Recently, we had the pleasure of providing engagement photography and videography services for a wonderful couple in Greenwich. Before the photoshoot, the bride-to-be visited our Hammersmith studio for professional bridal hair and makeup. After a relaxing three-hour beauty session, we travelled together to Greenwich to begin their romantic pre-wedding shoot.
When discussing potential locations, we presented several options to the couple. They chose Greenwich, which is also one of our favourite locations for engagement photography in London. Having photographed and filmed many couples here over the years, we know that Greenwich consistently provides stunning scenery and a wonderful atmosphere for creating beautiful memories.
Engagement Photography at Greenwich Park
We began the session in the heart of Greenwich Park, one of London's most picturesque green spaces. Surrounded by mature trees, peaceful pathways, and beautiful open landscapes, the couple quickly relaxed and enjoyed spending time together while we captured natural interactions, affectionate moments, and elegant portraits.
Greenwich Park offers the perfect balance between open scenery and secluded corners, allowing couples to feel comfortable in front of the camera while creating authentic and emotional photographs.
Stunning Views from the Royal Observatory
From the park, we made our way to the famous viewpoint near the Royal Observatory. This location offers one of the most iconic panoramic views in London, overlooking the Queen's House, the Old Royal Naval College, and the impressive Canary Wharf skyline.
The contrast between Greenwich's rich history and London's modern architecture creates a unique backdrop that perfectly captures the character of the city. It remains one of our favourite locations for dramatic engagement portraits and cinematic video footage.
Exploring Historic Greenwich
As the afternoon continued, we wandered through the charming streets and riverside areas of Greenwich. The town centre is full of character, featuring traditional pubs, vibrant cafés, cobbled walkways, and beautiful historic architecture.
These surroundings provided the perfect setting for documentary-style photography and videography. We captured the couple enjoying quiet moments together while the lively atmosphere of Greenwich added authenticity and charm to the images and video footage. Often, these natural and unscripted moments become the most treasured memories from a pre-wedding session.
Romantic Portraits at Cutty Sark
Our final stop was the iconic Cutty Sark, one of Greenwich's most recognisable landmarks. The combination of historic maritime heritage, elegant architecture, and contemporary surroundings creates a truly distinctive backdrop for engagement photography and videography.
As the evening light softened, we captured a final collection of romantic portraits around the ship. The warm light and beautiful setting provided the perfect ending to an unforgettable engagement session.

After completing the session, we said goodbye to our lovely couple—but not for long.
We are delighted to be joining them again next month for their wedding day photography and videography coverage. Their celebration will begin with a beautiful church ceremony at Christ Church Turnham Green, followed by a reception at The Black Lion.

We recently had the pleasure of providing engagement photography and videography services for a lovely couple in Greenwich, London. Before the photoshoot, the bride-to-be visited our Hammersmith studio for professional bridal hair and makeup services.
After a relaxing three-hour session, we travelled together to Greenwich for their romantic pre-wedding shoot.
Greenwich is one of our favourite London locations for engagement photography because it offers stunning greenery, historic architecture, riverside scenery, and beautiful skyline views all in one area.
During the session, we photographed and filmed around Greenwich Park, The Royal Observatory, The Queen’s House, The Old Royal Naval College, Canary Wharf viewpoints, and the iconic Cutty Sark ship.
The couple enjoyed natural romantic moments while we captured elegant portraits, candid interactions, and cinematic video clips throughout the afternoon. We also explored the riverside and town centre areas, using the charming pubs and lively London atmosphere as part of the background.

We recently had the pleasure of providing wedding photography and videography services for a lovely Bangladeshi bride and groom at Northbrook Park Wedding Venue in Hampshire, South East England. This was our fourth time working at this stunning and picturesque venue, which remains one of our favourite wedding locations in the UK.

The wedding day began with traditional bridal hair and makeup photography and videography coverage, including detailed henna shots, bridal accessories, wedding gifts, and emotional family moments during the bridal preparations. We also captured beautiful moments between the bride, her bridesmaids, and her mother-in-law.
Later, the groom arrived in a luxury wedding car, and we created elegant outdoor portraits around the historic Northbrook Park grounds. The ceremony included joyful traditional customs, emotional family blessings, and beautiful cultural moments throughout the day.
During the evening reception and banquet, we captured wedding speeches, guest wishes, cake cutting, family interactions, and romantic couple moments before finishing the evening with stunning sparkler photography and videography.
Two weeks later, we also travelled to Aberdeen, Scotland to document the groom’s side wedding celebrations.

We met and worked with this wonderful couple on two different occasions in two different locations. Their first wedding celebration from the bride’s side took place at Northbrook Park in Hampshire. Then, two weeks later, we travelled to Aberdeen, Scotland, where we covered the groom’s side family gathering and wedding celebrations with full photography and videography services.
In this blog and post, we would like to share more about the bride’s side wedding celebration at Northbrook Park. Later on, we will also share their beautiful Aberdeen wedding photography and cinematic wedding film highlights with all our future couples and followers.
We started the day by capturing the bride’s traditional bridal hair and makeup preparations. Our photography and videography coverage included detailed shots of the bride’s henna tattoos, hair and makeup process, beautiful bridal accessories, special wedding gifts, and emotional family moments during the bridal getting ready process.
After the bride finished getting ready, we captured some lovely moments with her bridesmaids and mother while she was presenting wedding gifts to the new bride.
Later, we moved outside the venue as the groom arrived in a luxury wedding car. Before the wedding ceremony began, many of the younger wedding guests playfully followed traditional customs by asking the groom for money and not allowing him to enter the ceremony room immediately. It created such a joyful and lively atmosphere for everyone attending the wedding.
During the wedding ceremony, we documented all the emotional moments, family reactions, and cultural traditions through both photography and cinematic videography.
After the ceremony, we organised group photographs with family members and friends before the bride and groom enjoyed a romantic horse carriage ride around the venue, where we captured more intimate couple portraits and cinematic wedding film shots.
One of the most emotional parts of the day was when the bride and groom received heartfelt blessings, prayers, and gift envelopes from their parents and elderly family members.
These meaningful traditions made the wedding celebration even more special and memorable. After that, we captured beautiful outdoor wedding portraits around the stunning Northbrook Park grounds, featuring the venue’s stylish historic architecture and elegant surroundings.
During the evening reception and banquet, we continued capturing beautiful moments including guest interactions, family speeches, candid wedding moments, and heartfelt video messages from guests sharing their wishes and blessings for the bride and groom. We also photographed and filmed their elegant wedding cake cutting ceremony.
As the evening became darker, all the guests gathered outside for a wonderful sparkler celebration. We captured stunning sparkler wedding photography and cinematic video footage which created magical memories for the couple.
Towards the end of the evening, we documented emotional moments between the bride and her parents as they shared tears, prayers, love, and heartfelt wishes before she left her family home to begin a new chapter of married life.We truly felt grateful and honoured to document this beautiful love story from Hampshire to Aberdeen (Part 2 of the blog is coming).
