I need people w ovaries who are on t to know that if your dr has tried to adjust your dose 100x and you can't figure out why you're still dealing with things like cyclcal symptoms of PMS or PMDD, cramps, and even spotting or bleeding, it's because 1/3 of people continue to have cycles and ovulate on t. Hormonal contraceptives can offer relief. This is also why t is not a method of contraception, so if you can get pregnant and don't want to be, then you need to use another method. It is safe to use contraceptives on t. They will not interfere with your HRT.

This is especially important information for folks who do not want a hysterectomy! Hysterectomy without oophorectomy (removing ovaries) does not stop hormonal cycles, either! Drs will often recommend a hysterectomy without knowing that a significant percentage of people still ovulate on t and that it can often be managed w contraceptives!

I have personally watched multiple people suffer from this issue for years without a single dr offering to try contraceptives and only recommending hysto, and some of these people went through with it and still suffered from the same issue afterward. You may never be offered other options without asking. People w ovaries who are on t need to know this.

I mean you can also do it in the same pot you're making the spaghetti sauce in! The important thing is the onions get a little cooked before the wet stuff goes in, so they're not so wet and limp and boiled....

Honestly this depends entirely on whether I remember to chop an onion first or I find the can opener for the tomatoes first. The ingredients go in in whatever order they go in.
