Hi guys, how's everyone? I'm so sorry for disappearing. I'm doing fine lately, life is treating me kinda well. A lot of things happened, many changes, many challenges, while I try to be a better human too. But, what am I here for right now? But let me explain a bit now: Lost In The Open is a challenging tactical roguelike RPG where you scramble to escape an assassination attempt in a low-fantasy, procedurally generated medieval world. You must recruit liberally, fight desperately and repent sincerely to return to your kingdom in one piece.

You lead your party as Nrvesk, the ruler of Ruedome. His reign was bloody, oppressive, and unjust. Nrvesk’s past crimes have caught up with him, and consequently, he is now the target of an assassination attempt by his former allies in the royal court of Stratha. Miraculously, however, he manages to escape their castle through a backdoor.

After narrowly avoiding the assassination, Nrvesk and two of his loyal guards find themselves lost in no man’s land between Stratha and Ruedome. You’ll need to guide the party through forests, mountains, and swamps. Trade blows with bandits, royal guardsmen, and even worse enemies while negotiating with trade merchants and hiring wandering recruits in an attempt to survive the unlikely journey back to Ruedome.

Over the duration of three Acts, you will recruit new allies, face a large variety of enemies, hone your skills and equipment, and confront King Nrvesk’s past as a ruler. Explore complex narrative scenarios in the world map, execute your plan of attack in combat encounters, and adapt your units to the challenges at hand as they gain experience, allowing you to upgrade their skills. Spend any scraps of coin remaining in the way you see fit to ensure your best chance of survival.
