This is such a hard question... I will say my top 3 categories of sprites because I can't decide on 3 single sprites
3- Happy Sal. I'm a simple woman I like when my fav experiences joy.
2- Evil Sal. Specifically from the Reboot Bad End 2 update, his other evil sprites are lame in comparison
1- Dot eyes. His dot eyes are awesome why doesn't he do them in human form

ik there are a million explanatios abt why was sal there when namikaze committed suicide but i always thought that it was kinda weird that he was there just when it happened, since he was such a mama's boy, which makes me think thay maybe namikaze wanted to take her son with her? what do u think?
I'm pretty sure it was just a "wrong place at the wrong time" situation where he got separated from Aonami and noticed his mama in the distance and innocently approached by himself. We don't have any solid Kaze characterization but if she was the typical Mother Character I highly doubt she'd want her son to be harmed. She probably didn't even notice him, being at night and all.
But between you and me I do kinda want her to be slightly fucked up in the head. I like my complicated women

Grumpy shy x cheery flirty is my shit. I have spent hours on Twitter looking at ships I have no interest in just because they have this dynamic. Add the childhood friends, total opposites, and reciprocity (the grumpy one tends not to like the cheery one in canon but that's not the case with my goat Samekichi) cherries on top and you got a delicious Salkichi cake.
Unfortunately I fail to talk to anyone about it because their view of "hot" is "Sal abuses Samekichi lolololol" instead of "Samekichi takes care of Sal because neither of them wish to abuse the other and Samekichi's the only one Sal allows himself to be vulnerable with." Being media literate is a curse.

By how depressed Shisatsu gets about Sal's betrayal methinks he has a small crush... That night he went to his home and he ripped all his Sal posters off his walls as he cried. Sal is oblivious to these feelings even if maybe perhaps he feels the same
At least one time Sal's let out a yearning sigh while being with him and vageposted about Shisatsu reminding him of someone he used to know. Shisatsu has no fucking idea what this means
The stupidest one but the one I will die on being true, Shisatsu's most notable body part being his long sword-like nose has made Sal have impure thoughts about a different long sword

Nahh Fukami is antisocial and Sal was doing his own thing at the castle. Fukami was also the last one to join the gang and the gang was on a trip for Wadanohara's memories for a while so you can assume they weren't in the same room too often
Which makes it more interesting if Sal clocked him being jealous of Samekichi pre-game. He's scary good at reading people!

You aren't a real fan of a character if you don't have a pile of meaningless headcanons about them
•Ideal man. Polite, kind, tidy, helpful, sensible... Type of guy who has roses all over him when he talks
•On the inside he is a mess sometimes. "Am I doing this right am I good do they hate me" type of anxiety
•Better emotional regulation than his red self. Sometimes that "regulation" is because he suppresses his emotions though
•Still has some dark thoughts but he buries them the deepest he can
•Puts romantic attraction wayyy over sexual attraction. He has no need for that kind of intimacy
•Doesn't crossdress but out of shyness. He does still like girl clothes
•If he had to enter the labor market he would be a teacher or something adjacent
•Would try to kill himself if he found out about what he did to his friend in another timeline despite he hasn't done anything whatsoever

do u think blue!sal keeps some dark charasteristics of canon sal? like he's home missing samekichi and gradually he starts to fantasize abt killing wadanohara so he comes back, or he gets into a fight (somehow) and pain starts feeling kinda good and he's like "oh"
He def has dark thoughts but I wouldn't say they're THAT extreme. Jealousy at Wadanohara and wanting her to leave at most. He would feel so guilty for thinking such things... Yummy
i was fucking around in the wiki and i noticed that the sprite for mourning sal (when he was a teen) already had his eyes red, this was previously shown in that artwork where sal and kichi are turning away from each other, but i always thought that was bcs at that time he already ran away from home for a while now. that means that his corruption happened between namikaze's death and running away. do u have some thoughts on this?

It's a pretty clear cut series of events. Kaze dies -> grief period -> mini running away -> corruption -> big running away. He wanted to escape his misery, stumbled into the Sea of Death, then the corruption focused his mind into where exactly he was escaping to. Normal teen things!

In general looove high energy x low energy ship dynamics. Being more specific to Fukasal, I enjoy how Sal treats him like they're besties when Fukami hates his ass. He's blatantly flirting sometimes and Fukami doesn't gaf
Also, both of them are clean and elegant with an interesting for domestic activities. I can see Fukami coming to like him back when he sees the more organic side of Sal
