Just to get it out there. I see people saying Owen and Gwyneth are being bad parents in this recent episode, and I couldnāt disagree more. You are having two people in some sort of relationship for communication problem, one wanting clarification and the other not wanting to label it. It is shown that they both donāt know how to solve it by themselves (Owen even going to an outside source for help in the end), so when their son come to them for advise on something similar to their own issue, of course they are not gonna be able provide him with something useful.
They do seem to wanna try and help their son, but due to their own miscommunication and issue, it can come cross self-centered without necessarily meaning to be that, it is human. TK sees that they aināt to any use at topic a the moment and leaves, he doesnāt seem to hold that against them.Ā
Adults/Parents are humans too. They can have communication problem too. They can struggle in the relationship too. They donāt have the answer to all, and need to solve their own issues before helping someone else. Doesnāt make them bad parents.Ā
