Baldur's Gate 3: Yurei
FINALLY I posted something lmfao I have literally had some of these drawings and paintings for months. Pardon the site picture quality of some of them lol my phone camera is garbage.
This is my wood elf Fighter, Yurei. Though Yurei isn't her original name. I know there is already a story origin for each race etc butttttttt I used some elements but mostly made up my own story. I'll post her story at somme point lmfao but ill give a little tid bit now and a bit of background on her name. Her original name was Yuna, before the incident that resulted in the death of her clan, and for part of her body to be burned and a cursed rune to be put on her eye by the culprit (hence the marking over her eye and part of her face). The name Yurei was given to her by the man who would eventually take her under his wing and train her into being a calculated and deadly warrior, stripping her of her name, and replacing it with a sort of title. One of the meanings for the name Yurei in Japanese means Ghost or Spirit. In stripping her of her name, she is to remain unseen and only be noticed when it is too late for her enemies to react, and soon after, dissappearing just as quickly and quietly as that of a ghost. She would observe her targets, blending into the shadows. On the other side of the coin, she was not to keep attachments (as youll later find out, this doesnt work very well eventually lmfao), and if she were to die, it would be of no consequence, and she would dissappear from memory without a name to be uttered in remembrance. I also have a second oc (though my other oc does not have a tadpole) whose story is intertwined with Yurei's, but I'll leave that story for another time.
Anywhoooo. I hope you like Yurei so far! :) Some of these are traditional acrylic paintings and then the others are pencil drawings. I have a bunch more that I'm going to post including a crap ton of Astarion art so keep an eye out lmfao 😂 I am a simp for Mr Dramatic Sass Vamp
