Breaking Leases
Hey guys,Ā
I know, itās been awhile since Iāve written anything on here...Ā
For the past several months, I have been trying to break the lease of the place Iām in. Itās frustrating that the government expects people who are on a disability pension to live on only so much a fortnight, we are unable to live. With specialist appointments that we have to pay for and the general expenses of rent, electricity, gas, water and even try and get groceries can make one depressed and helpless. Itās like the governments way of telling us that we as disabled people cannot live independently.Ā
If anyone disagrees with me then sure... prove me wrong!Ā
But ever since Iāve lived in this dump, the house is falling apart, the owners wont look after it but will love to blame the tenants for everything. Then trying to break a lease on top of that. Asking for advance payments on top of that while the tenant is already struggling to pay for even bread and milk.Ā
I mean, what has the world come too?Ā
The government has seen us an inconvenience so they brought in the NDIS so that local services and businesses have to take care of us, then we become a commodity and the people who are not eligible to even get passed the first process of NDIS fall through the gaps of the system. This world has come to shit.Ā
Okay! Done venting! Tell me Iām wrong and Iāll prove to you I am right!
