           The child blinked a little, another thing he was not expecting from Alois ! Cheek turned into a pinkish colour after his kiss, and soon burst into giggles. ❝ No fair ! I’m the one doing the kissing booth !         I don’t know. Have you ever drew a monster before ? ❞

“A monster? I don’t think so...” he frowned thoughtfully, “I don’t know if I’d want to draw a monster, I’d rather draw nice things.” He didn’t really get why Ciel would want to draw something scary like that. Drawing nice things was much... well, nicer.

         He did not mind that Alois just wanted to draw with him but… the kissing booth was still valid.  ❝ Ah… then    ❞ he gave a slight kiss upon his friend’s right cheek. ❝ We can draw together now ! ❞

“Oh-!” Alois blinked for a moment before giggling and pressing a hand to his cheek. “That tickled - here!” He leaned over and pressed a kiss to Ciel’s cheek in the same spot.

“Kiss?” Alois tilted his head slightly.

        He has not so often got any gift, especially in Christmas, a day which he did not believe whereas everything sounded so counterfeited. He held the paper gently, his gesture made him speechless, after all Alois has never shown affection or any sign of being interested in Georgie’s friendship, yet he gave it to him. A poem.  ❝ What’s the meaning of… this ? ❞ Alois did not sound upset, actually a little astonished by Georgie’s kind gesture. Voice seemed weak, not like a threat, but surprised. He did not have any more words to express how he was feeling, but certainly… he was happy.

He’d felt nervous passing the page over - the birthday gift hadn’t gone down so well, but he still wanted to try giving Alois something. Not only that but he’d rewritten it a few times unsure in his writing skills. Given the chance he’d spend hours reading poetry and prose and hoped he’d at least absorbed something from it. Maybe he was a fool for reaching out his hand for Alois’s friendship again and again but he didn’t want to give up.

“It’s... well, I-... I were practicing writing poems and I wrote this one what reminded me of you, so I re-wrote it in nice proper handwriting for you. As a gift. So...” he offered a small smile, “Merry Christmas.”

“Well, Miss, I’d like to be humble an’ say I ain’t nowt like beautiful, but… you’ve such good taste, it must be true,” he laughed softly.

         He reacted. It was a moment Alois was not expecting such a thing from Georgie, especially him. He so quickly snatched the gloves from his hands, his gift was in his hands now. It was absurd. Briefly blinked a little surprised by his sudden’s act towards him, never he did though he would witness that side of him. But then again, his expression turned serious, lips parted, chin lifted  ❝ What did you just say          ?  ❞ he was in disbelief when heard those words coming from Georgie’s lips, but he tempted to maintain a sense of superiority in his posture. ❝ Hand me my present back, it’s mine after all !  ❞ he approached the other, visage so close to his, nose almost touching on another.  ❝ You’re not Alois Trancy, and you would never be. Be away from this ‘title’ if that’s what you want, but I wonder how would you be in my place, huh ? Now…  ❞ countenance retreated a little, giving a little more space. ❝ Hand me my present. ❞ he showed his hand, palm open to take it back ❝ I never said I would not accept it. ❝ Having good manners, being polite was not… like him at all. ❝ … thank you for the present then. ❝

He really didn’t like upsetting people, but Georgie couldn’t deny that there was a little satisfaction in the way he managed to give Alois pause, brief as it was and he wondered if he’d ever manage to do it again. He stood firm as Alois trespassed into his personal space, clutching the gloves to his chest and letting the other boy say his piece.

“If you want 'em, you’ve a funny way o’ showing it,” he frowned, even as Alois said ‘thank you’’ for them. It was the sort of behaviour he’d seen in the very small children back home, not wanting a toy until they couldn’t have it any more. Georgie couldn’t help but feel sorry for him, though - if he’d never been taught these things, that wasn’t his fault and, really, it was sad when you thought about it.
