On a more side note

My merlin design often changes but not by a lot so i thought id explain a lil of my headcannons

Before he recovers the memory stars, his eyes are this ivory white as well as his hair, this is to symbolise him being essentially a blank slate for merlin, his outfit is also just a base one as he doesn't have much of a sense of identity. In the previous images, you can see his newer outfit and golden eyes, this shift happened slowly in tower of memory as he recalled some bits about his prior life. I imagine throughout this season his eyes had been flashing gold even when disguised as a student.

Like mid spell his eyes would flash gold and Silven, Gervan and Cassadee do notice Silven and Gervan question it while Cassadee pretends to not have seen. Merlin is confused but plays it off as a trick of the light.

This is my student disguise for him, i did find it funny how the hair kinda matches Cyran's. My merlin also does need glasses but uses an invisibility spell to hide them after one time Berial stole em and he struggled to focus on the fight.

I got ideas for more but those are going to be put on hold cus I'm seeing my girlfriend for the next few days :D

I gave Ronald some black roots cus it's sick af and some painted nails cus i can, i actually like Ronald so much and such a cool character, i hope he gets a more active role in season 4

Im considering calling this the reflections au but I'm not sure yet, also i will not be doing this rendering style all the time simply for simplicity's sake

It's a work in progress but i like the idea of Ronald finding out first.

I also just like the whole mirror composition, it's neat.

I like so many of the theories, and I like imagining scenarios of what happens but i might share those another time,
