Upon rewatch, one thing I really appreciate about Kinger in Episode 3 is how much he analysis and critiques the adventure from a game design perspective. Unlike Pomni, who constantly panics like she is actually stuck in a real-life haunted mansion, Kinger is actually trying to figure out Caine’s intent in how he designed things, as well as pointing out when something doesn’t make sense.

basically, you can tell he is a former programmer.

It is objectively a win that an indie studio is getting a theatrical release. I'm happy for Glitch, genuinely. I think this is a good thing. BUT. It is a two week early screening, and it's going to be much more difficult to enforce no phone rules than it is at early showings at cons like they did for other episodes. As someone who's done the spoiler-dodging song and dance several times before, here's my advice:

Block the fandom tag.

Seriously. Not the popular spoiler tag. Not even every combination of spoiler tags you can think of. The entire fandom tag. You can unblock it later, and without fail, someone will either forget to spoiler tag, or not want to deal with the inconvenience of spoiler tagging. Other websites may be more difficult to navigate, and I recommend staying away from AO3 tags as well since there's no good way to filter spoilers, but on Tumblr, the best bet is blocking the fandom tag altogether. It sucks, but it's effective.

(Also. If you're in Discord Servers known for having people complain about spoilers while explicitly explaining what got spoiled for them, I recommend muting the servers for those couple of weeks, and letting your friends know they can DM you for non-TADC spoiler related reasons.)

Not to be annoying (lie) but the fact Jax is like SUPER OBVIOUSLY codified as a trans woman (with lots of internalized transphobia, shame and denial) but there still will be people coming and saying things like "EEEE actually I see him as transmasc 🤓☝️and all the references of him trying to fit in masculinity in a toxic, oppressive way, hurting because of that, having complicated feelings towards women and womanhood and the references of the creator (a trans woman) seeing herself in him are OBVIOUSLY a sign of him being transmasc!!" piss me tf out. Like damn...

man truly have to make everything about themselves huh....

But I will say: having your transmasc character be forced to wear a maid-dress and then for another canonically trans character to say "I'd thought you'd be into this" to them, AND THEN PROCEED TO SELL MERCHANDISE OF IT, is a REALLY fucked up thing to do.

Like, it is still fine to have a headcanon, but I personally would be kinda off put by it.
