You know you gotta top tier best friend if y'all embark on almost 2 weeks vacation together and don't end up wanting to kill each other. 😁 I'm super grateful that @bohemianqueen took me along with her and the kiddos for the road trip up to Acadia Natl. Park. I'd never been to Maine and this was a great first experience. I finally had lobster for first time, ate/drank blueberry EVERYTHING, hiked, canoed, swam AND saw some of the most beautiful sights in and out of the park. I'm feeling revitilized from my time spent in nature and can really attest to the importance of GETTING OUTSIDE. I love living in the city, but I'm aware of a large part of me that yearns for the trees and dirt and somewhere to float downstream. Teaching allows me the summer break to feed that need and recharge, hopefully returning to work at the end of summer rested and ready to attack the school year. This past week was like a sneak peak of summer. I'm still at work for 1 more week but the sun says I should be chillin.
