Lock Up Your Grandpas

Saw a trailer for a movie called Wicker, which is about a fisherwoman in a village who gets a craftsman to make her a husband out of wicker and he comes to life and shenanigans occur.

Still working on insert names but I love the idea of him and Goldie bantering/play flirting when they fight like how she flirts with Scrooge and at first Scrooge gets jealous but he gets flustered when he realizes he doesn't know who he's jealous of and THAT'S when he discovers that he miiiiight have feelings for both of us~

Sometimes I have this urge to get into modern anime just to be part of a large active fandom community again and have like... figurines and keychains and stuff of characters I like. Dungeon Meshi was kinda like that but i fell out of it after season 1. The closest thing i have to it is Hazbin Hotel and my Vox obsession which is great don't get me wrong, I really try to go to more conventions and really indulge in that fandom culture.... but it still doesn't quite match the levels of anime fandom culture I've seen. I went to the theatrical release of the TADC finale and THAT was really awesome, but again it's not quite the same.
