Like I said in my Instagram story yesterday I was following Mama Cat during a protest in Belleville yesterday organized by the group Empire 13. The protest was to bring awareness to the killing of Tyre Nichols and police violence. When the group was headed back to St. Claire County Circuit a truck started to drive throw the protestors. Two protestors injured. One had to be taken away in an ambulance. Both had minor injuries and thankfully were okay. PrideFest 2022, Together Again, is back after 2 year hiatus. The parade stated with a wet an rainy morning. Literally as the parade started. Then went to overcast and then ending the day with bright sunny sunshine. It was nice to see so much joy after all the current news. My lens filter fogged and created a dreamy filmy 80’s glamour like look and it was fitting and I loved it. I’ve been luck enough to work on some great projects with some very awesome companies. I worked on this project with the local AARP chapter and we had a great group of folks. I didn’t know anything about pickle ball. Although I don’t really know a ton about tennis either so it was a learning experience. Check out some or my favorites from this project.
