Theories About Phi

Phi and Diana are long lost sisters. This is the reason Phi has red eyebrows, it’s actually her natural hair colour.

Phi has six buttons on the design for her ZTD pants as a symbolic reference to radical-6. If all six buttons get undone, it results in a timeline where radical-6 gets released.

The reason Phi and the other ESPers at the site can’t just pull death-passwords from bad timelines and make a timeline where they escape without having to kill anyone - the first thing they’ll try - is because something at the site is disrupting or jamming their timeline-hopping ability.  For the first time, they won’t be able to access the other timelines - and it’ll leave them feeling so much more vulnerable and helpless than they realized.

The context behind Eric’s quote where he yells very possessively about Mira is that, at some point during the decision game, Mira breaks up with him to start dating Phi. Eric’s not very pleased about this, but Phi’s glad that her new girlfriend is as kickass as herself.

ZTD’s true ending that shoots off point E will involve Sigma and Phi leading very happy lives as a duo of milkmen that go comedy.

During timelines where Sigma ends up dead, Phi tries to comfort herself by attempting to pull information from other timelines where he lives. Unfortunately, this doesn’t always work, because she can’t pull information from timelines where Phi herself ends up dead beyond the point of her death.
