Makeover Madness || Rose and Cassie
Just a couple hours, and then Iâll be free of these blasted things, Cassie thought, repeating the words over and over in her mind, hoping theyâd calm her. So far, that wasnât working out too well. âOw!â she whimpered. âThis is why I never wear heels. I forgot how much they hurt!â The blonde shot a pathetic look at her companion, trying hard to think of something other than the searing pain creeping through the bottoms of her feet. âTake a good look, Rose,â she said playfully, a hint of exasperation present in her tone of voice. âThis is the last time youâre ever getting me into fancy shoes.â She peered at the younger girl, half feigning amazement. âHow do you do it? All this girly-girl fashion stuff? itâs so much trouble.âÂ
Cassie was such a whimp, honestly, they were just heels. If she couldn't handle that, how could she handle anything else? That was the question. It wasn't so hard to ignore the pain. She downed a shot she'd picked up from a tray, and looked back at her companion, "woman up, Cass. You're a Gryffindor. Simple heels shouldn't be wearing you down." She said and picked up two more shots, and passed one over to the blonde. "Trust me, you'll be wearing more before the year is over." She smiled and shrugged, "it's a gift."
