If you’ve been following for a while, you’ve noticed I’ve been posting about the SARS/SWAT Police brutality crisis in Nigeria. This is especially personal to me not only as a black person, but because I grew up in Nigeria. I have had my own experiences with them, one including an officer jokingly pointing a gun at me, a classmate and a teacher on our way to a math olympiad.

These protests give me hope because this has been one of the largest movements in Nigeria. Queer people, students, disabled, etc.  are coming out even though their lives are at risk.

But protesters need monetary support. Food, water, masks, medical supplies, etc are needed on ground.
