The Oates Legacy

Sometimes your crappy part time job does not do enough to cover the bills. You know, it is really hard for a teenager who is a full time student to pay all the bills, feed himself, and his dog! Solomon has resorted to dumpster diving. He is not proud of it but he secretly likes it…like they say “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure”.

Sometimes you just have to pick up the guitar and strum your woes away.

You really need friends to get by in this life. Solomon is very lucky to have the friends he has. Meet Jeb and Oscar! Whether it is helping each other cheat on a midterm, going bowling, or just being there for a friend in need these boys have each other’s back for life.

Solomon and Monkey are the perfect companions. They enjoy going on adventures together, eating together, and of course the dog park. Solomon truly enjoys his time with Monkey (remember, he is a dog lover). Solomon dreams of competing with his pup, being a world renown trainer or a skilled vet. He has an idea of what he would love to do and he would love nothing more than to have Monkey be a part of it. Today, they spent their Saturday at the dog park practising some agility. Monkey gave it his all but it appears that he is not really cut out for it. Either way, the boys had fun and will not stop trying!

Well well well … Solomon is out of control! We have ourselves a casanova! Solomon has had a wonderful time meeting new people at his school. He really has been enjoying the attention he has received from the ladies. It has gotten to his head and he has taken full advantage of this attention. Solomon first thought he found love when he met Sonina (first photo). She is different, doesn’t want to be a part of the cliques, is artistic and soulful. He was head over heels for her! Until he met Vi Flowers. Vi is in a few of his classes and he never has paid much attention to her … until she got caught pranking the white board. That really caught Solomon’s attention that she is not the goody-two-shoes she makes out to be. He immediately asked her out on a date once school ended. With these two girls not socialising in the same circles, will Solomon be able to juggle these two or will he get caught in the act?

Solomon is attending Copperdale Highschool and it is going pretty well! He has stayed pretty motivated and is trying to find what he really enjoys doing so he can make something of himself one day. Sometimes he has a hard time focusing in class but he does his best. Woodworking has been a fun skill for him to learn and it is helping to bring some income in. Solomon has needed to get a part time job to help pay the bills. He was able to get a position as a Fast Food Employee, but he is not overly thrilled about it. He much rather spend his time at school, improving his skills, and making friends.

Ah, alas another legacy in the making. I am happy and feel very excited to play this lineage out. Meet Solomon Oates! Solomon was raised in the system and did not have the easiest upbringing. He decided to leave his last foster home and try to make it on his own. He is Loyal and a Dog Lover. Once moving out on his own he jumped at the opportunity to own his own pup, named Monkey. Solomon was able to purchase the lot Town Square Terrace in Copperdale and make it his own…well to the best of his abilities and bank account. It is a perfect little nook for him to get started and make something of his life!
