- Ship where they obviously love each other but also want different things, so it just hurts

- Ship that seems to represent a really weird idea of the author's

- Ship where you can't decide if you like it romantically or as friends

But what the fuck are the newer seasons?!

What the fuck is a "Schnozmo"?

Like, think about it. Cyborg and Beast Boy are platonic boyfriends for life. Starfire and Raven are platonic girlfriends for life. Raven and BB are dating (even with the "breakup" in S4, the later seasons show them paired so often it's almost impossible to think they're not dating lol). Star and BB are those two loud obnoxious friends who cause chaos together (Starliar). Cy and Star have a great sibling-like bond and never argue (they're usually paired when BBRAE is also paired). The worst pairing here is probably Cy and Raven, and even they have moments where they enjoy each other's company (Meatball Party).

Yet all their moments with Robin are ruined in some way, usually because someone in the party is being a jerk. All of them constantly harp on Robin, because he calls them "sidekicks" and constantly acts like they don't matter. He acts like he's the leader and they're merely the NPCs who follow him around. Look at how many times he treats Beast Boy like canon fodder, not caring about his wellbeing at all (Some of Their Parts, Oregon Trail), or steals things from Cyborg (like the head position in Left Leg, or his robot parts in Real Boy Adventures), or dismisses Raven despite her knowing more about a subject than him (Laundry Day, Super Robin). As such, almost all of them have called him their least favorite Titan on completely separate occasions, and I don't think that's without reason. The exception is Starfire, of course, but even she gets uncomfortable with how much he pushes their nonexistent romance.

I do know about the Friendship Friend episode, the weird one where friendship is a physical being and Robin doesn't have any. It was probably meant as a quick "haha, Robin has no friends" joke, but that got me thinking, especially because I had this theory formulated before I found out about that episode. I find it funny that even Raven, the antisocial ice queen jerk, has more friends in the tower than Robin, who has zero.

I don't know. I made a post about this on my other blog, but I wanted to elaborate, so here I am. What do you think?

I may be biased, because I am happy whenever robin is in pain, but I don't think he has any meaningful relationships with any of the other titans, every time they make it seem like they do care about him it feels out of character If he died they would not care/care little -🔥

I don't think they wouldn't care if Robin died, but they would mourn him as little more than an acquaintance or old classmate. If anyone else died, then they'd be upset like they lost a close friend.

Like you said, another reason they keep him is because he's the only sensible/smart/sane one, which I find interesting because he and Raven regularly swap that role. Pick a random episode and you have a 50/50 shot of Robin or Raven being the sane one. So I guess the other three Titans dislike when Robin is the sane one because he usually acts absolutely insane while keeping them in line, meanwhile they hold more respect for Raven because A) she could kill them in an instant while Robin can't, B) she's generally more stern and collected than Robin is, and most importantly C) they have better bonds with her: Cyborg loves her like a sister, Starfire like a best friend, and Beast Boy like a girlfriend. They don't really respect Robin because, as previously mentioned, he doesn't really respect them.
