🐒 Samon x Reader Platonic Big and Little Sibling Relationship Headcanons 🐒

You and Samon have known each other for a long time; since you were young, nearing your teens

Starting as friends, the two of you ended up choosing each other as adoptive siblings

Even though you grew apart as you grew into your adulthood years, you never stopped thinking about and writing to each other

Then one day, you land a job at Nanba as a Building 5 guard

You're absolutely floored when you meet your supervisor-- it's Samon, and the two of you are speechless

After the initial shock wears off, you're both hugging each other and babbling nonsense about how much you missed one another and how happy you are to see each other

You both make promises to make up for lost time and stating that the two of you need to get together every now and then on your off days

The sibling adoration doesn't stop for one moment even on the job, not by a long shot. Isn't afraid to dote on you whenever he can at work

Every time you walk past Samon, you greet each other and stop to chat for a moment

Samon noogies you every time and you don't know whether you love or hate it

Samon is very protective of you-- if he hears you're in trouble, you damn well better know he's bolting across the prison at mach speed to get to you

Also isn't afraid to pummel an aggressive inmate to put them in their place if they threaten or do pose a threat to you

Couldn't care less if any of his other guards or even inmates stare at you two while you chat and laugh together

Always seeks you out at mealtimes so you can eat together and converse on how your days are going

Whenever he can- and when your break times line up- he'll hang out with you and maybe play Mahjong

If you get hurt by anyone, he'll be like a heat seeking missile out for blood. No one harms his sibling and gets away with it!!

🔓 Jyugo 🔓

Jyugo had a feeling there was something off with his S/O by the way they seemed to be in pain quite often, and it worried him to no end

Then he hears that they need a surgery and he's terrified, asking them what it's for and what's wrong

His S/O tells him they have endometriosis, explaining what it does and what the surgery fixes

Takes their hand and asks if there's anything he can do to help. It pains him seeing them in their own pain

While thankful for his offer, the S/O knows there's not really anything he can do to help per se other than being there for them for comfort and assistance when needed of it

Jyugo swears to always be there for them and do his best to keep them as comfortable and happy as he possibly can

🎲 Uno 🎲

Uno can tell something is ailing his S/O pretty quickly when he picks up on their pained cries from the bathroom and when moving the wrong way

Wastes no time asking what the matter is, if they need to go see Otogi, if they need anything..

When the S/O explains their illness to Uno, he's mortified. It does sound like it'd be beyond painful!

Then they explain that they need surgeries for it and he gives a soft frown, taking his S/O's hands and kissing the backs of them as he murmurs how sorry he is to hear about what they're going through

Assures his S/O that he'll do anything he can to be of help, even if it's just being by their side before or after surgeries to soothe their pain

Concerned boyfriend is concerned and will always be looking out for his S/O's wellbeing

🍩 Rock 🍩

When he first hears of his S/O's pain from the inside the restroom, he pulls them aside to ask them if they're alright no sooner they emerge

The noises of pain they were making were more than enough to leave him concerned for their health

As they explain their illness to him, his eyes meet their lower stomach, and he lets out small noises of understanding as they speak

Reaches out to cup their belly as if trying to magically heal their illness, his eyes soft as he lets out a small sigh and says how horrible it sounds

Then he hears of them requiring surgeries every so often to remove the growths and he's heartbroken, wrapping them into a warm and gentle hug

Promises to help any way he can and to never leave them to deal with the pain that comes from this terrible illness on their own

💊 Nico 💊

Nico just knows something is different about his S/O even before they started dating, but he never really pushed to figure it out

Then comes the day he hears of them needing a surgery, and he's a bit panicky as he asks them what it's for

Hearing that his S/O has a chronic illness hits far too close to home for Nico, being a whole library of a host of illnesses himself

Wraps them in a big hug and tries not to cry at the fact that he now knows what ails them, and how painful it is for them. Not to mention needing surgeries!

Apologizes profusely (Even though it isn't anything in his control) and swears to be as helpful as he can to keep them comfortable and happy

🔓 Jyugo 🔓

Jyugo lives in constant fear of losing his friends after meeting Elf

As far as he's concerned, he could drop in at any moment and steal them away. The thought terrifies him to no end

For weeks after his escape attempt was thwarted by his cellmates, he was stressed out and distant

F/N noticed this with a nervous start, and after carefully keeping an eye on him, she decides to talk to him about it

He's exceedingly nervous when she brings up his distant and stressed behavior, dancing around the question and trying to avoid the subject

F/N gives him a soft, caring expression, reaching out to cup his cheek and making him look into her eyes with a surprised look on his face

Tells him she'll always be here for him if he needs her, and that he can tell her anything he needs to get off his chest

She'll always be there for him..

Jyugo cant fight back the tears after that, and wraps his arms around her, sobbing gently into her shoulder

He'll always have his fear of Elf taking her and his other friends, but he'll be damned if he doesn't put up a fight for them if he's given the chance to when that bridge is crossed

🎲 Uno 🎲

Uno ended up getting a minor injury while he and the others were jailbreaking

He got a scuff on his face after losing his footing and tripping, and being as enamored in his own physical image as he is, he lost his mind over it

Rambling about how Kiji's gonna call him a one, how he hoped to god it wouldn't scar, how he's gonna bruise, yadda yadda yadda..

Goes ham trying to mend it himself, applying different creams and beauty products to it to try and hide or heal it the best he can

Fusses over it for days straight and gets more desperate and sullen as it does indeed bruise, a blue and purple mark very visible on his cheek

F/N constantly tells him he'll be fine, that it's just a little bruise and a scratch and shouldn't scar

Uno constantly retorts that it's not fine, that this ugly bruise is in such an important area and oh so visible

F/N eventually has enough and one day, while Uno's in the cell's bathroom fussing over his bruise again, she cups his cheeks and makes him look at her

Goes on a rant about how he's beautiful just the way he is, bruise and all, and that he shouldn't let a temporary wound on his face ruin his self-esteem and good views of himself. It'll heal soon enough and he'll be as good as new!

He really needed to hear that. He puts a hand over her own and sighs, leaning into her touch as he gently thanks and promises her that he'll (try to) stop being such a drama queen

🍩 Rock 🍩

While in the recreation room with F/N and his friends, there ended up being a brawl between two random inmates which Rock tried to break up

Got punched by one of them and got a busted nose and ended up getting pissed off as a result, punching the aggressor's own nose in

He got in trouble as to be expected for getting involved, and had to wait to hear from Hajime about what his punishment would be

He was laid up in the infirmary as Otogi treated his nose, growling and grumbling to himself about how stupid this all was

F/N stayed with him as he waited to be cleared by Otogi to go back to his cell

When Hajime came to bring the two back to the cell, he told Rock he'd be getting 30 minutes less of recreation time for a week as punishment (While the ones who started it got recreation time removed all together for the same amount of time)

Rock throws his head back with an irritated groan at that. Mumbles to himself how he shouldn't have gotten involved and should've kept his temper in check

F/N takes his hand as they walk back to the cell, her thumb petting over the back of it to soothe him

When they get back, F/N puts a hand on his arm as she looks up at him and gives him a comforting smile and tells him that it's alright, that she's proud of him for trying..

Rock sighs and smiles back, thanking her for the kind words and saying that having her around was a big help to keep his head level

💊 Nico 💊

F/N wakes up to a sharp cry in the middle of the night, turning to see Nico upright with cold sweat dripping down his face

Tears are in his eyes as well as he lifts his hands to cup his head, shivering violently

He must've had a nightmare..

She gently says his name to get his attention, asking him if he's alright. Nico's reply is two head shakes and a whimper

F/N coaxes him over to her own bed for comfort, and he's with her in a heartbeat, wrapping his arms around her and sobbing into her chest

F/N rubs the back of his head with one hand while the other rubs away his tears, her face against his vibrant green hair as she whispers soothing words to him

Whispers how he's alright, that it was just a bad dream.. that he's safe here.

Nico lets out little whimpers and nods in reply to each thing she says, slowly calming down to her warm touch and soothing voice

When he finally fully calms down, he slightly hesitantly explains to her that the nightmare was about when he was experimented on way back when, and that it felt so real-- like he'd gone back in time.

🍑 Liang 🍑

Liang is sparring with Samon when the little girl runs onto the battlefield, startling him to a stop

She runs into Samon's leg and grabs it with her tail belt wagging behind her, making the guard laugh and lean to ruffle her hair, murmuring that he's kinda busy right now

Speechless at the idea that this kid might be Samon's, and even more so after Samon confirms his questions on whether or not she is

Looks down at the child as Samon explains that his wife is sick, and no sitters in their area were available so he had no choice but to bring her to work today

He had no idea Samon was even married, let alone a father. This was definitely a shock to him

After asking Samon what her name is, he kneels down to be at the child's level and greets them gently, smiling as he holds a hand out and says it's nice to meet them

🧘Upa🧘

Upa is meditating on the training field when he's startled out of it by a hand grabbing his shorts and a squeaky voice asking him what he's doing, wagging her tail belt

Confused to the high heavens on why a child is in Nanba prison, but when Samon makes a quick walk over to gently tell her to leave him alone while calling her "Sweetheart", he's surprised at the realization that this child is Samon's

Questions Samon on how long he'd had a kid, saying he had no idea he was a parent

Samon explains that he's been married and had this child for some time now, and he had to bring her to work cause the wife is sick and no sitters were available

Upa just hums in understanding, looking at the child as she runs off towards other inmates, making Samon laugh and shake his head, excusing himself to chase after her

Silently hopes that this child doesn't get herself into any sort of trouble while she's here. This place isn't exactly safe for children.

💐Qi 💐

While working on some new medicines, Qi is startled by a little hand coming into view and grabbing one of the flowers on his desk, giggling and calling it pretty while feeling the leaves and petals while her tail belt wags

Kinda loses his ability to speak at the shock of a child being here, let alone how risky it would be for such a young person to be in range of his medicine making should a mixture go wrong

Samon is quick to run up to them and snatch the child up, murmuring to her that she shouldn't bother Number 71 while he's working

Laughs a bit in surprise, asking if this child is his, to which Samon agrees and explains how the wife is sick and no sitters were available, leaving him with the responsibility of watching her

Samon takes the flower from her hand and offers it back to Qi, but he lifts a hand and shakes his head with a "nah", saying she can keep it; he's got more on hand.

The child laughs as Samon gives it back, thanking the "old man" for letting her have it. He lets out a slightly nervous laugh at being called old, but nods and says "No problem" regardless

🐎 Inori 🐎

Inori is slacking off as he usually is, chilling in the break room with his hat down on his face as he leans back on the sofa

When he hears a little voice ask what he's doing, he jumps a bit and lifts his hat, looking down to see a child there with a tilted head and wagging tail belt

Questions what she's doing here in a prison, sitting upright and leaning down toward her with an amused smile as he says her mom is probably worried sick

Samon comes in, seeming to be worried but relaxes when he sees the child, running over to her and saying she has to stop running off

Inori blinks in surprise and asks "This is your kid?". Samon nods and confirms his question and explains that she's here due to the mom being sick and no sitters being available, before narrowing his eyes and asking why he's slacking off again
