This blog is *mostly* for my terrible Roman Republic posts. I don't know nearly as much as I want to yet and doubt I ever will (although that's the beauty of it.) Classics undergrad. I want to get the most joy out of it as I can so I need a space to be a freak about it in my own way. mostly caesarposting and catoposting (and cicerposting but who doesn't here)

State educated + private school abolitionist

My main interest has historically been Caesar, and I recieve a fair few asks about him. However, I am still not a classicist and do not trust myself to answer questions. I am not an expert and will make mistakes.

This being said, I am very open to recommending scholarship or offering recommendations to people who want to start reading about Caesar (academic + general audiences.) I do complain about ides of march posting on this site and so on but don't take this as me being unwilling to talk to/otherwise judgemental of people who want to get started. however - obligatory disclaimer once again that I'm not qualified.

If I don't reply to things immediately it's because I take a while to compose replies and I'm a relatively shy person.

I don't really trigger tag posts on here. General warnings: this is a classics blog. There will be mention, discussion and etc of rape, violence, incest and more.

Do not send me asks talking about how strange or weird I am/ my posts are, even with friendly intentions. It is not a compliment and it's very, very annoying. I assure you, my conduct and the way I talk about my interests are both not terribly different from how most people discuss their fictional interests on this site. I am not that bizzare for having mentioned Cicero in my post.
