I don’t know. Descendants is just a simple, fun, happy movie, but something about it really affected me emotionally leaving me in this weird state of needing closure and wanting to re-experience it with people who feel the same way. I think roleplaying would help with that, but I’m so worried about the time commitment. I know being an indie blog, there’s no actual commitment or deadline, but I’ve disappointed my partners in the past with my inactivity too many times and that was when I had less of an excuse. In this year of college, I’m barely going to have time to do anything, and that’s just from the stuff I already know is happening; so much more can, and probably will, come up.

So much is on my mind. I have a lot of complicated feelings toward going back to college. I don’t have many friends there. I saw some of my high school friends again this summer and they’re going back to their colleges which are far away from mine. I also made some new friends this summer through community theatre, but I still feel like I don’t know them super well and I don’t know what’s going to become of those friendships due to the nature of how we met and how we know each other. I’m going to miss my pets while I’m at school too. A lot. There’s also a lot going on in my family, both very bad and very good. Then there’s my conflicted feelings about me as an actor and a writer. Where are these passions taking me? I know where I want to end up, but it seems so far away and I’m worried about whether or not I’m on the right path to get there. Life is so unpredictable now. There’s plenty of other things I’m thinking about too and the more I talk about them, the more other things come to mind. I think watching Descendants, for all its simple happiness and themes of friendship, individuality, and love triggered a major reaction in me to all of this stuff on my mind at once. Tumblr is really the only place I feel comfortable talking about this and not even on my personal account because it’s kind of embarrassing.

Well, this was supposed to be an announcement post about possibly returning to roleplaying and it turned into long vent post. I kinda needed that though. If anyone wants to talk, I’d appreciate it.

I’m considering returning to this account because I really miss it. I also want to add a Descendants verse (which would probably just be Chad.) Then again, college is starting in four days and I already know this year is going to be incredibly busy for me.
