The Moon Observatory

When I chose the spot for my observations I though I was safe from the tide. But the Moon proved me wrong. The moon used the sea to wash away my instruments. Is this because the moon does not like to be measured? One can only speculate.

At 14:45 the sea levels were visibly higher.

The tide grew to strong and it was unavoidable. My circle had been washed away by the sea.

As the time passed I kept on documenting the path of the moon. At 12:53 it has passed the horizon and I noticed the tide was coming in strong.

When my three instruments were installed I could start collect data and follow the path of the moon. The data collecting started at 11:41 sharp. The tip of the axis indicates where the moon was at that specific time during the 22/2.

Third instrument I installed is the Moon Circle. To be able to collect data I could rely on through my experiment it required me work from the same location. This Moon Circle helped me locate that data-collecting spot. 

After the time measure log was installed, I installed the “Angle Triangle”. The “Angle Triangle” helped me to photograph the horizon in the same angle in every photograph. 

Time log is installed facing South West. The Axis is following the path of the moon.
