Random memory

I was 8 when I got called into the discipline mistress' office.

Scared stiff, I was panicking over why I got called over. The discipline mistress reassured me that it had nothing to do with me but with my grandfather who picks me up from school.

Apparently a couple of kids antagonised my grandfather and he in his annoyance took rocks to throw at them.

My Niece at age 4 maybe 5

She was learning the concept of sharing, but she didn't really comprehend fully.

She gave out sweets, as treats to us adults,

"Mama, this one for you, xiao yi this one for you, papa this one for you."

Her mom was a little distracted, going back to her conversation after saying thank you, and absentmindedly ate the sweet.

My niece cried as though the sky had fallen at the injustice of her mum eating the sweet.

She's 8 now and I still double check with her if it's okay to eat the sweets she's gives me.

Colleague C paid for lunch first, and we usually transfer her back, $8.75. But colleague P helped buy a movie ticket for C, $6.50.

P then transferred C $2.25 not knowing C already transferred her the $6.50 for the movie ticket.

Eventually P transferred her back the $6.50, tagging in the comment "make my life difficult"
