do you sell your tails, and if so how much? my friend wants one, but can't afford the mertailor tails

I have not been open to custom tail orders before, but I AM considering taking on a few commissions over this winter!
They would be for fabric tails with a diamond-scale pattern painted onto them, exactly like the one I currently use. Tail colors and monofin type would be up to the buyer. Since these would be my first tails constructed for someone other than me, I would want to work with the person very closely to make sure it comes out the way they dream.
Since the first one would be experimental for me, it would be offered for not much more than at cost, and subsequent tails would increase in price as I perfect construction methods (if I decide I feel comfortable making more for people). I would need to compare prices in more detail to come up with a solid number, but I would say probably around $200 + cost of the monofin (which can range from $40-$300 depending on the brand and size. The Finnis Wave monofins I currently use is about $50) and how many colors the person wants.
Considering the number of hours of work that goes into each tail, that’s a pretty good deal, but since I also work full-time it would also have to be constructed in my free time. I can’t begin anything until after October anyway–but if anyone would be interested in this, please feel free to shoot me a message :)
