He shrugs his shoulders. “It doesn’t but if you don’t know then maybe it wasn’t as strong as you thought. I don’t mean to sound like some asshole but I’ve always known when I loved someone. Maybe you were just in lust or just intrigued.” He offered as an excuse to why she didn’t know. “It’s fine. I wanted to see you. I missed you.” He admitted to her. I’m glad you came out and hopefully I can take your mind off of all this.”

"If you don't know then you probably aren't. I know when I love someone. I understand. At least you have me." He said with a smile and patted her hand. "If he's crazy to let you get away then it's his loss. Try and put it out of your mind and just relax and have fun." He felt bad for her but that was the best advice he had.

He could tell that she was holding stuff inside of her and hopefully, he could get her to open up. “Do you still love him?” Might as well get the big questions out of the way. “I still have feelings for my ex and so I know it happens.” He reassured her and hoped that she would see that both were hurting still. “Just have to keep going and let it heal itself.”

“Just a little under an hour and a half! Super nervous!”

He sighed and shrugged his shoulders. "It's okay, babe. I just want to get to know you and not argue over other people. I care about the two people at the table right now.. me and you." He reached over and patted her hand lightly with his own. "I can understand that. I've been through the same stuff."

“Did I say that I thought you were stupid?” He asked as his voice rose slowly. He was annoyed now about the whole conversation about his guy that he could care less about. “If you say so. I’m really tired of discussing someone that has nothing to do with tonight. I asked you out, not you and your friend.” He liked Nikki and wasn’t trying to upset her over something stupid.

Colby shrugged. “I have no real thoughts on him except that I think there’s no way that he has a contract like that. Other than that, I could care less. He’s one more person that I’ll beat to obtain the gold.” He smiled at her and tried to lighten the mood. He was protective of his friends too and understood her feelings but he really had none towards the guy.

"The difference is WWE has a working relationship with a couple of UK promotions because they are going to be showing those promotions on the WWE Network. That's the only reason, it's a trade off." He rolled his eyes. "I'm not saying he's a bad guy. I'm saying that it's unheard of that he's being allowed to do that." He liked Nikki but he felt strongly about wrestling because it was his passion. "Why would you think I thought he was a bad person?"

He gave a faint smile but did feel better that he wasn’t the only person that hadn’t know better. “That’s good to know.” Hearing her question, he had to ponder it for a moment before replying. “I am but I’m not. Does that make sense? I don’t see how someone can stroll in here and work all these other places and be on national tv. No company in their right minds would agree to that. I can see WWE letting us work here and there but letting people work for companies outside their realm, that’s unheard of.” He remember the issue Ring of Honor and TNA had with that years ago and how they had learned not to cross talent like that.

He took her hand and followed her up to the line. This was different but he’d get used to it. He listened to her order and then simply replied with. “I’ll have the same thing that she’s having.” easy way out but it worked. As they got their food at the register, he paid for both and then went back to the table that he had picked up earlier. “I feel stupid but thank you.”
