Alycia Burton and her gelding Classic Gold Rush are the team to watch, it hasn’t always been way. This gelding came to her when he was 7 years old, the owners had asked her to put some time into hi and try to find a buyer. He was a handful and was not an easy horse but within two weeks she knew that he was something special and knew he couldn’t go to anyone else so she bought him. Six months later this gelding had gone from 15hh to 15.2 and had become quite the muscled little horse. And oh man could he jump and loved it. In the video you will see her free riding and jumping bareback this team make it look so easy. But don’t let Gold Rush fool you, he may look like a school master but he is not, he is very difficult to ride and very sensitive to his riders. If you come at him with the attitude of “I know how to do this and I will  make you jump”, he will just stop and rear and will not jump Alycia treats him as an equal says “lets do this together as a team” and because of that he has given her his trust and confidence. Every jump he throws his heart over for her and she is there to catch it! Enjoy this video courtesy of www.freeridingnz.com!Â
