She didn’t want to die, but she refused to let him die with her, all because he wanted to try and save her. He had a full chance at living if he just left her she was sure of it.

“Well I don’t believe their is any real sparring, but I have seen small children train to become a special kind of knight with blue and green sticks that light up.”
he tsked his tongue.
❝ come now. now talk of that. ❞ but then confusion crosses his features.
❝ disneyland? what is that? ❞
“Oh it’s a wondrous place Fandral! I don’t quite know how to describe it, but the place is fueled by imagination and dreams, it is like one giant grand festival all year around.”
She couldn’t help but light up, it had become her favorite place on Midgard, the one place that could always manage to put a smile on her face even in her darkest moments.
“Let me take you there, I promise you will love it.”
there’s a small smile, but there’s still an edge of sadness to it.
❝ in my experience, the battles decide the timetable. not the warrior, ❞ he answers, and glances at her, the small smile still in place.
“Well if I wasn’t technically a traitor I would still be your princess and my say trumps that of battles.” she huffed, with a rather stubborn look on her face.
“Have you heard of a place on Midgard called Disneyland? It is a wondrous place.”

She worried about him, he had seen so much battle this she knew, and she wanted nothing more than to take away any and all hurt from him. She missed the days of their childhood, when things were simpler.
“Perhaps you should take a break from all the battles, and I think I just may be able to help with that if you let me.”

“Fandral... I was only teasing.” She had assumed that he would know that she was only kidding, however it was quite clear by the look on his face that he hadn’t.
She stepped forward and gently placed a hand on his cheek. “How long have I known you now? I know you trust me as much as I trust you..I suppose my humor isn’t as tasteful as it use to be.”

“Would the most beautiful woman in all the Nine care to dance with me?” he asked, holding his hand out for Sigyn to take, a smile quirking the corners of his mouth.
“I would love to dance with you.” she said with a smile, taking her husband’s hand and standing up.
“Oh. ….I’m sorry for your loss,” he replied, unsure of how long ago her husband had passed away. No matter the time either way, it was always difficult coping with a loved one’s death; Drogon knew that from experience. “I suppose such a talent really is useful.”
Brow furrowing as he dropped his gaze defensively, Drogon nodded. “Yes, I am,” he answered, unsure how to answer the second question. He had no idea whether dragons were supposed to live in packs or not. Sighing, Drogon shrugged and added, “I’ve never met any packs of dragons before.”
Sigyn smiled a sad smiled and nodded, it had been some time since she had lost Loki, but she was doing better. The last thing she wanted to do was think about the pain. She took a deep breath, pushing the memories aside and focused on the other.
“Really? Where I am from, there live in great clans and are quite skilled at hiding.” she hummed softly, she had only ever seen one or two. Drogon was her third dragon, and the first one she actually spoke to. “Maybe they are all hidden, I am sure Midgard has to have at least one pack left.”
❝ the last thing you are to me, sigyn, is a burden. come. let us get you settled in, hm? ❞
“Okay... Thank you Fandral.”

“ Did I ever tell you that she hates me? At this point I am pretty sure Sleipnir is the only one who likes me.”

“Deal,” Drogon agreed easily. He hadn’t come out into the woods to pick any fights with women. After a bit of a pause, he shoved his hands into his pockets a tad sullenly and asked, “So how’d you know I was a dragon?” It was rare for anyone to pick up on that when he didn’t accidentally give himself away, and he was sure he hadn’t.
Sigyn nodded softly, letting her her seidr fade away, returning her hands to their normal color. She wasn’t all that surprised by the question, he was hardly the first dragon she had come across in her life time. “It’s a talent I picked up my husban-...” she paused for a moment taking a shaky breath before looking up at him. “My late husband was a master of illusions.. being able to pick out a shape shifter use to come in handy.. it use to be a little game we had...” she voice trailed off taking a deep breath and forcing the memory away.
“Are you all by yourself? Do Midgardian dragons not live in packs?”
