And it’s so affordable. Formula is pigmented. I really like this. You can’t go wrong with Colourpop, they have made makeup fun and affordable. No wonder why they are so popular and successful. This was added to my other mega palette collection. 😂

I thought the bottle would be much much larger. The photos in the promos appear so. But what I got was much smaller. You’d think being advertised a “hair and body” spray that it would be a big bottle and the price point is too much ($49). But no they shrinking and cutting and jacking up costs.

These should be half price. I got this for my daughter as she likes gourmand scents.

There are four scents. This is Vanilla Bliss.

I put the sample of Rare Beauty gloss next to it for size reference. Even that is frigging tiny.

This Colourpop “splurge” was quite therapeutic. I only tried a few. I got the surprise gift and the pink collection.

I drooled when I saw these. Initially wanted the pink one but when Ulta had that sale and they were half off, I got almost all of them. At least the colors I knew I would wear.

They smell so good. The shimmer is off the charts! Especially on the coral one. Glitter stays on lips when you wipe. For now, I find the glitter to be therapeutic for me.

I hope she doesn’t discontinue these. It’s hard to find shimmery glitter balmy lip shades. No grit, stickiness or dryness. These are quite a treat! I had to take photos before I started using them. They were just sitting there.

My Revlon Lipsticks

I updated my Revlon with some new colors.

Started this back in December when I noticed it was on sale so I didn’t buy all of these at once.

This is a process that takes time. Then you realize it’s too many but I love all these shades. Still need to try some. Some I tried already and used repeatedly like the red matte and the soft brown shades .

Revlon Balm:

Luminous Lilac: sheer purple pink.

Lustrious Crème:

Dramatic: orchid

Iced Amethyst: classic frosted plum

Whiskey Business: soft brown

Lustrious Crème in Gold Packaging:

Blackberry: berry red

Sedona: soft terracotta brown

Heatwave: classic red

Revlon Matte:

Saucy Mauve: medium mauve-pink. My junior prom lipstick!

Mica: frost plum-pink. Looks like Revlon Iced Amethyst.

Fresh as a Rose: strawberry red. Description said pink.

Worth It Medium: pink brown nude. That soft brown all the blondes are wearing. Also looks like JJ’s lips in Criminal Minds.

Peach Fuzz: frosted peach-pink. Retro color. Going to mix it with the pink to make my Wonder Woman lips (old post).

L’Oréal Lipsticks

Probably the last tried and true lip collection.

Seeing several big cosmetics companies phase out some of their lipsticks (Urban Decay, Mac etc), has made people look into L’Oréal and Revlon.

I am a long time user of both, and going back to these lip lines is a mix of nostalgia and memories. I think I may have found my junior prom lipstick. L’Oréal was my first intro to makeup. The scent never bothered me. It made me feel sophisticated and grown-up.

I remember wearing frosty pink but that was Dior. Which was senior prom makeup.

I’m seeing classic colors go viral on social media. Young makeup fans getting into L’Oréal and Revlon. There are classics in the line but can be worn with new freshness.

Ballerina Shoes: light warm yellow pink

Mica: frosted plum-pink

Tickled Pink: frosted blue pink

At first glance, the two frosted pinks look identical. But upon closer look, you can see the warm and cool tone differences.

Blue- pink will always make teeth look whiter. If you have the slightest yellow* which is natural color of the dentin, you might like Tickled Pink better. (*especially if you drink coffee, tea and other dark beverages).

I haven’t worn these shades yet. I’m just in the collecting and sniffing phase now. It’s part of my recovery efforts from serious medical injury.

As with all lipsticks, your lip undertone and skin pH will determine what a lipstick shade will look like on your lips. So while one shade may look spectacular on that blonde, it may not look spectacular on you. I see blondes tend to prefer baby pinks and soft browns. At least from seeing several TikTok videos.

Now I need to find my senior prom lipstick. Which was Dior. Yes I still have some old makeup. It’s part of my makeup history. A little memory I keep.

Wow. It’s a shiny tint of color that is not sticky.

They are like the discontinued Mac Versicolors.

I mean EXACTLY. I bought just one color to try.

I still have my old Macs. Even the applicator is the same. I mean they’re all owned under the same umbrella company. So L’Oréal must have taken over this line or they revamped it for L’Oréal.

This color is called WORTH IT.

I saw a red but I got a Revlon red instead.
