Jen: Sounds good. Meet at my place at 8ish? We can pregame a bit before heading over.

Jen: Should be some good networking opportunities. The director I work with alot is going to be there plus a ton of other directors and actors so it should be good.

Jen: I think it's just a casual thing. Mostly like a wind down party and a post emmy celebration

Leah: Super! I think I saw a couple of directors I've worked with before talking about it on their socials, but it's been AGES. And I'd have to double check with Lulu, I've been stressed lately so she's been checking most of my mentions and stuff for me.

Lucky: You'd be beautiful in a Dawson's Creek reboot! Think it would be one of those where they just remake the original concept like 90210, or like a Next Gen thing?

Lucky: I never saw a lot of Dawson's Creek so I would've just taken your word for it lmao

Leah: IDK, hopefully a next gen thing? I feel like the world would reject a blonde Joey and I so don't want to dye my hair dark or even be in like, a black wig all the time.

Lucky: I say this with the most love.

Lucky: But what are you EVER talking about, Leah Moon? 😂

Leah: OMG, sorry! I was on like, a Hulu binge recently! I heard they might do a Dawson's Creek reboot and I super wanna audition so I was rewatching.

Jen: Okay so I got invited to this big party tonight from one of my costars on a movie I did last year and like I'm not about to show up alone.

Jen: I figured maybe you could be my Plus 1?

Leah: Um, obvi! I'm always up for a cool party, especially with Breakthrough like, almost donezo, it's great to be out and about.

Lucky: This two-parter episode is gonna be such a blast to film, y’all! I’m so lit about it! And if you think this is exciting, just wait for the midseason finale.~~~

Lulu: The best part about being a writer is that instead of wondering why no one's ever written a short about sending the perfect first message to send on Bumble, I can just write it myself. Except I still haven't figured out what to send out on Bumble for MYSELF yet, so I'm stuck in a pit of my own making. HELP.

Oh my God, Lulu, you’re the smart one! or you’re supposed to be. Obvi in those situations you shake your head and smile instead!

Oh my God, like, a dash of Malcolm from Malcolm in the middle since he was brillz, with a little bit Krista from Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants -- I know that’s a movie but they play it on TV sometimes, and Melody St. Clair is such a Carmen sometimes, okay? It makes sense that I’d be like, part of her dad’s new fam. Or Cassidy, but like, you know what I mean. She’s also like, a little bit DJ Tanner? But in the Full House days where she’s like, the one who’s sort of afraid to break the rules. Except when she’s in love and her boyfriend is living in her closet, no biggie. 

“I have no clue.“ she puled out her phone and started googling. “I mean come on, who wouldn’t want to be bumped by two Breakthrough stars just trying to relax before the next day of the con.”

“Seriously! Like, I’d be willing to offer them an autograph -- and maybe a selfie, as long as it’s pre-massage. They really need to learn how to make oils that don’t get your hair all grease-tastic by the time they’re done.”

Kara: But they have way more power

“Is it socially acceptable to go to a panel in sweatpants? Asking for a friend.” Drew was feeling a bit agitated recently and really had no desire to get dressed up for a full day of panels, meet & greets, & a bunch of screaming tweens. His agent was supposed to have gotten back to him about his next project, but so far he hadn't heard anything. “Also, do you think I could get one of the PA’s to fill my cup with whiskey instead of water? Or would that be too obvious?”

Leah looked up her nose at Drew, shocked by what she was hearing. Sure, they were all a little unprofesh every once in a while, but sweatpants? Whiskey? She was super glad he wasn’t on one of her panels. “Um... maybe choose a drink that’s not brown? There are lots of clear ones if you want to be a sneaky sneaker,” she finally suggested, hoping she didn’t seem too appalled.

“I totally forgot how exhausting these conventions can be. First dramacon in years and I wasn’t ready to feel this wiped so early in the weekend. I’m gonna need a spa or something tonight so I feel relaxed for tomorrow.”
