There are no happy endings, because nothing ends

also that apparently “when you get a chance” usually means “when you take a break from the thing you’re immediately doing” and not “on a list among various other things you are doing today or tomorrow”

Saw a beautiful horned lizard today on a hike, I've never seen one with such a striking peachy color before. Did you know that horned lizards are nicknamed "Cheii," or grandpa, by the Navajo people?

It's also Indigenous People's Day, so I'm taking it as a sign to recommend my favorite horned lizard artist, Daniel Josley (web/instagram) if you followed me for desert critters please go check his work out!

Just recently some time ago I thought how it would be great enrichment to get a big bulk amount of some specific food item and then having to figure out how many things I can turn it into, and just today when we were visiting my boyfriend's parents, I got a permission to liberate their apple trees of some of the excessive abundance.

So going to the store, I got brown sugar, crackers, and fancy cheese. I needed the brown sugar since I'm going to make an apple cobbler later, and now for dinner I'm having brie with saltines and appy slices ^w^

This is what happens when the person you love is so bad at communicating his love for you that it tears you apart inside and leaves you hollow.
