Holy shit, Joel.

Going to watch the first episode of The Last of Us on HBO tonight and will try not to cry but it doesn’t help that I’m already in tears just thinking about how I felt the first time I played this game…

Well I literally can’t tell if it’s good or not because I just love Joel so much and tho I was initially skeptical I think Pascal is actually doing an amazing job, and I am blinded by love.

I'm replaying tlou2 for the third time and I just want to rant about Owen. I want to rant about Abby and Owen's whole relationship. I find it all very manipulative. Abby lost her dad, and Abby and Owen's relationship obviously ended. Why?! Because she was grieving? I know this isnt a marriage but I still believe in sickness and in health, they should have been there for each other. And when their relationship ended, it's very obvious that Owen kept Abby on a string around his fingers. He got with Mel, got her pregnant, and still never let Abby free. Then theres the infamous boat scene where they do the business, which is all Owen really wanted. To sleep with her. To cheat on his pregnant girlfriend. Idgaf if he still had feelings for her, im sure he did, but if he was actually smart he would have made that fucking obvious from the start. he could have either stuck it out with her OR cut loose ends and have closure. God.

wait i think it’s actually just sunk in that Joel’s dead. like for a whole YEAR i thought it didn’t affect me like everyone else but no, my brain’s only just fucking realised (i guess?) and now i’m really sad :(

Came to the realization that we won’t see Joel again and now it’s starting to hurt me 😔

Even just thinking about this still makes me feel sick and like it’s a dark place inside. I haven’t been able to finish a second playthrough because honestly it’s too devastating.
