I do think you lose your right to medical privacy when you decide to become a politician and it is mad fucked up that these people hold our lives in their hands and are allowed to disappear for months on end with no explanation. You need a doctor’s note to miss school for a cold but we have no clue if Mitch McConnell is dead or alive and Tom Kean was allowed to fuck off for 4 months without telling the public why. I don’t give a fuck about your privacy, you’re not protecting my privacy, if you’re leeching tax dollars and partying it up in a rich person rehab resort somewhere while your constituents vote against our access to healthcare, we should be allowed to know. Fuck you. I say this as a disabled person, I’m always having to explain the nature of my disability and the details of my health but we’re not allowed to know what the fuck is going on with these people.

I love how GOP politicians are like “WOW! Give the guy some privacy and some time to recover!” when reporters ask when/if Mitch McConnell will be able to do his fucking job while THEY try to probe into our medical records and continue to attempt to erode disability rights. No bitch. Fuck his privacy and recovery. When have you ever cared about the privacy and recovery of the general public?

Exactly. I believe in medical privacy, paid sick leave and better healthcare. They don’t and they’re actively trying to steer the country in the opposite direction. So they should reap what they sow.

the thing that makes me mad about light pollution is that so much of it could be fixed by downward-facing light fixtures and doing that would also massively reduce energy usage bc all that light cast upward is wasted energy

wish there was an easy and normal way to say “I’m not as sane as you probably assume i am, and when you can see it, will you still try to love me?”

just in case this spreads: i literally mean “not sane” here. I’m not joking about how goofy i am. I mean i have behaviors and symptoms and histories that most people don’t- and ones that have been considered insane. Will you still love me when i tell you I hear things sometimes? Will you still love me when you know I’ve attempted suicide multiple times? Will you still love me when I obsess over things and break down often and can’t promise you i can always be happy?
