an (excruciatingly hot) hvac guy came out the next day and got it fixed inside of 20 minutes- there's been a "construction company" here for the past two months doing completely unidentifiable and extremely disruptive "work" to the front of the building involving one of those dangling scaffolding platforms (a first wives club Building Bucket if u will) right outside my unit and i guess they blasted a thick layer of slime directly into my [completely unprotected] hvac vent with a pressure washer, so a large chunk of the innards had to be hauled out and hosed off/through
