here are some common abbreviations/language i've seen for simblr:
- wcifs / wcif (where can i find)
- BB (build buy, aka anything in the building mode of sims)
- CAS (create-a-sim)
- cc (custom content. this means anything for CAS like hair or skin details OR for build stuff so any custom furniture)
- EPs (expansion packs, the big expensive ones)
- GPs (game packs, i think kinda like medium size. like werewolves or realm of magic)
- SPa (stuff packs, so smaller things like maybe introducing a new kind of skill)
- BGC / BG (base game compatible, aka you don't need any packs)
- mods (there are sub types. career mods are like stuff that adds to a custom career, or gameplay mods are small/big things that add to your gameplay)
- mesh (i think of it as the wire or "base" of smth. a lot of ppl can make their own meshes but would prefer if you create custom content to not include the mesh, allowing the original simmer to get their mesh downloaded)
- overrides (stuff that you can replace a normal object such as a mail override, making the mail your sims get to be smth new. or a CAS background, so you have a mirror or use it for storytelling. you can only have 1 override)
