#NowWatching Black Swan (2010, Darren Aronofsky) Is it a horror? Is it just a thriller? Who knows, who gives a fuck, it’s a great film with incredible performances. A psychological thriller set to the soundtrack of Swan Lake with three of my biggest crushes ever, yeah, it’s a good time. #NowWatching Black Sheep (2006, Jonathan King) Well, shit, I better get a move on with my collection, I’m still only up to B! And at this point I won’t even get to C before the bomb drops, continuing my adventures with a delightfully low budget romp from across the ditch, our neighbours to the east, New Zealand have an incredible track record with horror flicks, Bad Taste, Dead Alive (Brain Dead), Housebound, What We Do In The Shadows etc etc. the pedigree is high and the humour is dark. It’s been a while since I’ve given this one a spin and from all (hazy) recollections it’s a cracker!! I’ve been following this series since the first edition in 2019 and I tell you what, they have left no stone unturned.
