One of the classes I see rarely played and often overlooked are druids. I know I’ve also skipped past the option countless time because the flavour was lacking. So below are options that hopefully help inspire or create story hooks!

You don’t recall life before you lost yourself to the woods. You don’t know if you indeed had a life before. You awoke in a dense forest, the tree whispering to tidings of welcome, with nothing, not even clothes on your back.

Wandering into a seashore cave you discovered a plant that grew and died with the tide, you became fascinated with it. As you went through life you noticed synergy within other areas of nature, connections that you became clear, eventually drawing magic from it.

A rock landed from the sky not far from your village, you wandered out to find out what it was. You were disappointed at first to find out that a rok was all it was until you touched it. Flashes of space and starlit night filled your mind, and you sought to learn more.

You died, that you are certain, but the world is not done with you it seems. Moss grows on your skin now; leaves grow in your hair. You died protecting civilization and now you live again defending from it.
