training update
I almost killed myself yesterday with my training we did
1 hour strength training using TRX's 15km plus bike ride to orientate me with the course 250m+ open swim, my very first and totally not a fan!
Today i have pulled up extremely sore, but as they say no pain, not gain right? My 5km run this morning got cancelled due to a clash of events using our route, i think the pool is calling instead then........
finally i can see, kind of.......
The ITU have FINALLY made an important rule change for the vision-impaired Tri6 category... NO MORE BLACKOUT GLASSES!!

The proof is in!
Great 36 hours, spent 12 of it travelling from sydney to Orange and back, had dinner with the Mayor of Orange and completed the 10km run in between 80-85minutes thanks to the awesome guiding of Kathryn Bennett and thanks Achilles Running Club Sydney for the great company and many laughs

She is my Australian bestie, have known her for 5 and a half years!
She is an avid runner, more advanced than me, which really isn't hard to be! Last Sunday she joined my achilles club for a Sunday morning run and learnt how to run as my sighted guy and this week has taken up the challenge to be my eyes for the Orange Running Festival and many more runs to come, wish us luck!

Swimming Strong, Trust Me!

Had a fantastic weekend! 500m+ swim, 5km run with Kathryn Bennett and riding with a potential new racing captain. but now the fun must come to an end and academia take over. looking forward to running the 10km run in Orange next weekend with the fabulous Kathryn

Did my first solo swim tody, 500m with a 50m+ non-stop backstroke and a 50m freestyle Kerrin will know the importance of this

Decided i'm going to tackle a swim by myself this afternoon lets see how many innocent people i can take out or how many times my head make friends with the end of the pool......
