Hello Tumblr,
On May 30th, 2011 Rebecca and I started The Geek Critique. It was an awesome opportunity for us to express our love for the Geek culture and everything therein. Since then we managed to build a following of over 2,300 people and reached so many more from countries all over the world (except for you, North Korea) However, after the birth of our son Grayson who’s now grown into a two-year-old totalitaritot and Rebecca’s pursuit of a thriving photography business, there’s little time in our day-to-day to maintain this blog. So on the fourth anniversary of its birth we have decided to cease all new blog posts indefinitely.
Before we go we’d like to give many heartfelt thanks to those of you who wrote to us in support of The Geek Critique and for so many others who contributed in various ways to all things geek. What was once an odd trait which found so many of us shunned and picked on in our youth has now become a global movement. Thank you for keeping the geek spirit strong.
Take care of you and yours and may the Force be with you as you live long and prosper.
Your friends in time,
Shawn and Rebecca
