The Frights

Had the honor of tour managing our best buds, The Frights, for their Fall 2015 West Coast run. Never a dull moment with these dudes. Stoked to see how far they’ve come from the first time Abe and I met them. 

Our friend Alex threw a warehouse show and these guys opened the party (never heard of their band around this time). It was only us two (Abe and I), our friend Norman, and Ross who was doing sound that watched them. They played as if there were thousands of people watching, with a closing band’s energy. Our lucky ass ears enjoyed their set so much that we interviewed them right after, asking them what’s the mustiest thing they’ve done or witnessed. From then on we became close friends through hanging and traveling. Fast forward two years.. These guys are selling out SOMA side stage, Constellation Room, and The Echo. 

With that tangent of our history being said, I hope you enjoy the tour diary. If you must know in detail.. Tour consisted of a fuck load of driving, unhealthy eating, healthy eating, long days and longer nights, cars burning, dogs driving, Richard’s 21st birthday, throwing up, voodoo donuts, legalized weed, more fucking driving, a bikini coffee house, butt cheeks, dick, a big traffic jam, seeing old friends, meeting new ones, Podcasts (Serial to be specific), jokes, laughter (of course), and a whole bunch of party. 

Nothing but endless memories. My advice for everyone is to enjoy your lives and take pictures if you don’t already. You get to look back at all the cool and dumb shit that you get yourselves into. 40-50 years down the line you can thank me over my grave. 

Just kidding. Do what the fuck you want.
