First Look: The New Mercedes-AMG CLA 35 4MATIC Shooting Brake

A big mouth and a lot behind it ‑ performance and versatility for individualists

Already the fifth model in the compact class, the new CLA 35 4MATIC Shooting Brake is the latest point of entry to the world of Mercedes-AMG. The five-door model combines the powerful proportions of a sporty coupé with the decisive extra functionality thanks to the extended roof, the large tailgate and the wide load compartment opening. The agile high-torque 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine delivers 306 hp, which is variably distributed to the front and rear axle via the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and the AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive. The sporty performance (0-62 mph in 4.9 seconds) is coupled with an increased amount of space for luggage or sports and outdoor equipment.
