Every blogger that is a creator of art should REBLOG THIS. Tumblr’s hand needs to be forced into action. I mostly likely will be deleting all blogs that follow but don’t interact with my blog in a positive way and I don’t care if my follower count goes down to 15 people.

Tumblr functions solely on the backs of creators. The #artistsontumblr , #paintersontumblr, #photographersontumblr #sexworkers #camgirls #models etc People come to this site for the creative content. We shouldn’t have to beg and plea with them to construct this site in a manner that protects the creative integrity of our work. They should be asking us what they can do to make things better. Instead of ignoring us. We need to collectively stand up and tell @staff that it is not acceptable for tumblr to allow credits to be stripped from original content and it is not acceptable for people who reblog to be able to add any links of any kind to the work of artist. It takes two weeks to get a reply from tumblr which doesn’t even solve the problem. When the power to remove your imagery from someones blog that doesn’t respect #art should be in your hands as a creator. This is not acceptable and this post needs to be reblogged and #boosted until we get answers and change in policy. If you follow me and you do not reblog this you are just another parasite who doesn’t respect the art you use to decorate your blogs with. I don’t care if you have 50 followers or 50,000. You need to reblog this and tag #staff . and I’m not going to get off this soapbox until I see change. So unfollow if you like.
