Anyone here been to an Escape room before? I celebrated my birthday yesterday with a Haunted house escape room and a dinner - we had a blast! The Escape room was a bit tricky to solve, but we got out with 5 minutes to spare. The haunted house theme was a ton of fun - lots of surprises, LOTS of screaming - we had to perform an exorsism before the demon was stuck inside a child (or something along those lines). We did have some funny blunders - I was desperate to win and we took a long time finding the candles, as they were stuck behind riddles, so I placed stuffed teddybears around the exorsism ring in hopes it would work instead. It didn't. Sometimes I feel too innocent for this world. Definitely going to more Escape rooms in the future. They had a pandemic themed one, but tbh I've got enough dealing with the ongoing pandemic and I'm not really tempted to solve a fictional one right now. Tonight it's birthday celebrations part II with tapas and drinks with another set of family. The pandemic has really gotten hold over here again, so we can't gather many at once.
