Forgot to post here, whoops! But I've posted some new adopts on my kofi! im trying to save up some money before going back to school, so any help is appreciated!
I've opened a shop. Come take a look!
Divided Skies is delighted to announce that we are officially opening for our seventh wave of applications!
"Nineteen moons ago, tensions reached a peak in the mountain StormClan, causing a schism to break the bustling Clan in two, while enemies and allies alike bore witness. Those defectors settled in the moors with the name of DawnClan, seeking peace with the forest BriarClan and marshland MistClan. Time and time again since, tragedy has struck in all four Clans of the territory: disease, disaster, and death abound. With new leaders in power, and new threats rising faster by the day, a time of great change has come. The morning has only just begun."
We are an 18+ semi-literate Warriors roleplay hosted on Discord. As such, you must have a Discord account and be 18 years or older to apply. We ask that you only send in one submission to the form. This opening will run from August 1st to August 15th, after which invitations will be sent out to all successful applicants.
This opening will be focusing on original character pitches, however, if you prefer finding a character with pre-established ties, please feel free to browse our adoptables document for all available characters and open connections!
Please make sure to check out our lore before applying! All of our documents can be found in our Table of Contents; we heavily suggest consulting our Clan Ledger first, to get an idea of the main factions. If you have any questions, send us an ask, and we'll back to you as soon as possible!
Will your paws lead you to community, or to superstition? Are you led by honor, or by hope? Does your heart lie beyond the Clans, no rules beyond your own? Or will you be in the skies themselves, maybe shrouded in the dark?
Choose your path wisely; welcome to the world of Divided Skies.
Apply HERE!
(Psst, check out our brand new territory map! Illustrated by the talented @p1-k0 )
We can't wait to see all your applications- good luck! :)
So uh….some dude apparently recreated Adobe Photoshop feature-for-feature, for FREE, and it runs in your browser.
Anyway, fuck Adobe, and enjoy!
Give credit to the 30-year-old who worked on this for free and offers this service for free!
WHAT?!
I study graphic design and my tutor recommended and used this in his classes at art college last year, it’s so good it has SO many features for free, I really recommend it, even if you’re just trying to learn the basics of PS, such a wonderful thing <3
I use this and it’s fucken great. No bullshit. Really works. Sometimes the world is kind.
are you tme or tma
"i know you're nonbinary but which of these two arbitrarily constructed gender categories do you fit into" genuinely are you having a laugh
Referring to the distinction between those who are and aren’t affected by transmisogyny as “arbitrarily constructed gender categories” tells me exactly which of the two you fall into lmao
evergreen lmaooo
The application of TME/TMA terminology stops making sense once you take intersectionality into account. Dark-skinned women, particularly dark-skinned black women, are victims of masculinization and often experience this because the concepts of womanhood and femininity (at least in western societies) are almost always measured by eurocentric standards, colorism, and a general proximity to whiteness. Violent transmisogynists shoot first, ask questions never.
Michelle Dionne Peacock was a 59-year-old black woman who, by our communities’ definition, would’ve been transmisogyny-exempt on account of being a cisgender woman. However, she was killed on account of Tommy Wayne Earl’s misogynoir AND transmisogyny, even going so far as to refer to her as a “male acting like a woman” when questioned on the murder. Earl had no grounds for his accusations apart from Peacock’s appearance which, last time I checked, doesn’t indicate anything save her blackness. Considering Earl also had to be separated from black inmates due to “not getting along with them”, I think it’s warranted to assume his transmisogynistic motive is equally rooted in misogynoirist behaviors/mindsets that masculinize black women. In other words: he’s just as much of a violent racist as he is a violent transmisogynist, and whether or not Peacock was actually a transgender woman meant nothing to him. Only his ideology mattered, therefore that was the only “truth” he recognized. Most transphobes are like this.
Caster Semenya and her battle against the International Olympic Committee’s intersexist, transmisogynistic policies is another case I think of, though thankfully it isn’t a fatal one. In 2019, World Athletics (formerly the IAAF) introduced new regulations that forced intersex athletes and other athletes with DSDs like Semenya to take medication that would suppress their testosterone levels. Semenya refused, as was her right to. Ever since, she has been pursuing legal action against these regulations. In tandem with her legal battles, transmisogynoirist and intersexist cultural wars were sparked because of the barring of Caster Semenya. Her being a cis woman in actuality did not stop these culture wars from happening. People only cared about the narratives being fed to them, and again, most transphobes are like this.
Semenya is not the first nor the last cis black woman in the sports industry to be subjected to this treatment. Far from it. Serena Williams is infamously made a target by misogynoirist sports reporters and commentators whose actions against her often skew into transmisogynist territories as well (see: Mark Knight‘s political cartoon for The Herald Sun from September 2018). In that same year, Williams addressed internet conspiracies around her having been “born a man” as well.
Even Michelle Obama has been subjected to transmisogynoirist harassment from American right-wingers who repeatedly make conspiracies and accusations of her “secretly being a man”. Quite recently, UFC fighter Josh Hokit peddled this exact rhetoric on the South Lawn of the White House. Emboldened by the likes of Joe Rogan and in the shadow of the Trump Administration, no doubt.
On a less public level, I was shared a video by a black co-worker that applies to this; said video was of a black woman being harassed in a women’s restroom. As she’s filming, an older white woman comes around the corner and insists that she is in the women’s restroom, implying that the woman recording shouldn’t be there. She tries to ignore the old lady at first, but ultimately (and rightfully) tells her to leave her alone. Only for that same woman to claim she’s “mean” for doing so, as if she didn’t spend most of her time harassing this woman.
Admittedly, I used to sympathize with people’s reasons for using TME/TMA terminology in communal spaces. I felt obligated to use it since it was the least I could do for my peers. In retrospect, this terminology is flawed. People regard it as another version for AGAB terminology (which cannot be stressed enough that it was appropriated from intersex spaces in the first place), but it’s deeper than that.
I am not a woman, but your average person is going to assume I am a black woman. They have the potential to exercise the same violent misogynoirist, or even transmisogynoirist, mindset against me as Tommy Wayne Earl had against Michelle Dionne Peacock. My experiences aren’t like that of an actual black trans woman, nor was it for Michelle, but that doesn’t change the fact that our societies don’t care about distinction. Our societies can and will operate on its own optics regardless of who we are, and once they perceive us one way, they aren’t going to stop and check if that’s actually true or applies to their beliefs. If American white supremacists can still peddle “Michelle Obama is a man!” conspiracies in 2026 and with confidence, what makes you think our societies as a whole will suddenly start caring about who does or doesn’t apply to their systems of oppression?
Not only does this terminology overlook the nuances of sex and how it is experienced among people, but it also overlooks nuances like the racialization of gender and sex, especially when those nuances CAN and HAVE led to the discrimination of people like Michelle Dionne Peacock, Caster Semenya, Serena Williams, Michelle Obama, that woman getting dressed, and many, many more.
You cannot separate these cases of racist, misogynoirist discrimination and violence from the transmisogynistic rhetoric therein. You simply can’t. It’s all connected. The notion that any of these women are men relies on our societies’ fearmongering around black people and transgender people alike as well as how they dehumanize us. Worst of all, we see the fallout of that constantly in our communities, seeing how black trans people— especially black trans women— hold the highest statistics of being hate-crimed out of any other transgender demographic.
The more I looked into these cases, the more I stopped referring to myself as “TME”. If we can acknowledge that transphobia is capable of affecting cisgender people, then how is it any different from acknowledging that our societies’ weaponization of gender and sex can’t be binarized by something like TME or TMA? Cisgender black women— be them perisex or intersex— most certainly are affected by transmisogyny, given the many ways misogynoirist and transmisogynistic ideologies intersect. Those circumstances alone show why TME/TMA distinctions ARE arbitrary.

friend of mine recommended a video essay that's like 5 hours long about why it's currently a whole Thing for fascists to claim they only eat meat and demonize vegetables etc etc, and it's genuinely quite well researched in many places and contains some fascinating history and has made me feel very weird about my status as an adult who enjoys drinking milk. but I've not finished it and I genuinely don't know if I will because at one point the ol' "you can't say you care about animals and also eat animals" chestnut got dropped by the white vegan essayist and it put such a bad taste in my mouth that I had to leave instantly
like idk man it just feels genuinely parodic to dedicate hours to analyzing how foodways have frequently been used as white supremacist propaganda and then casually toss out an argument that pretty invariably demonizes indigenous hunting practices with 0 regard for traditional knowledge and land stewardship guiding those practices
okay on the suggestion of some folks in the replies I've gone back to finish the video. I don't object to any of the descriptions of animals being mistreated in many current methods of meat production! factory farming is very bad! people should be aware of how their food is produced, and as a meat eater I very much want the animals I eat to be treated humanely and with as much dignity as possible. however. I am also wondering why I was immediately subjected to a direct comparison between animals being killed for food and human women being sexually assaulted.
damn okay went back to the video and they said that people pointing out that vegan arguments frequently veer into racism are the real racists because some Indigenous people are vegans... they fucking got me
necessary disclaimer I guess that 1.) I don't have anything against the practice of veganism and 2.) I don't have anything against these youtubers who I know nothing about save for this video. I think they're thoughtful and passionate and broadly have a lot of interesting things to say but maybe missed the mark with some parts of this essay.
I did watch through the specific refutation that I was advised to check out and I can't say that it really did anything to dispell my initial gripes with the argument that one cannot both care about and eat animals, and the entire section debunking myths about veganism did in fact come across as overly defensive and needlessly adding on to the runtime of a video that's already exceedingly long.
as mentioned in another reblog, I also find the defense of PETA and the claim that its bad reputation comes entirely from shady corporate lobbyists as opposed to their history of racist, misogynistic, and ableist as campaigns.
girl help they're in the replies calling noticing racism "getting offended on someone else's behalf"
jkr is literally posting upskirt photos to her social media. when will it finally get through to harry potter fans that their support makes her feel confident and correct enough to do things like this
If the holocaust denialism SOMEHOW wasn't enough for you to shut up about your favourite kids book as an adult; JK Rowling just committed a sex crime IRL against a transgender woman.
When do we start to care.
[Image ID: The Destiel confession meme edited so that Dean answers 'JK Rowling posted upskirt photos of a woman on Twitter' to Cas 'I love you'. /End ID]
No one doing this should be allowed to call themselves a feminist.
The wealthy author escalated a social media spat that resulted in posting a photo from a 2023 event at the Institute of Economic Affairs in
Let's not beat around the bush: Children's author JK Rowling sexually harassed a woman. In some jurisdictions, this would count as sexual abuse. JK Rowling has committed a sex crime against a woman and fell back on the old rape apologist standby of "she was asking for it".
I hope your nostalgia is worth it
spirits of the land.
while it was only just named by the cats that settled it, everfrede has been thriving long before their arrival.
spirits are the original denizens of the land. hailing from an otherworldly plane called the spirit world, these manifestations of nature and life hold dominion over every aspect of everfrede. from the wind to birdsong to the feeling of a first love to the erosion of the smallest grain of sand, there is no part left untouched by their vitality. each province recognizes their sacred role, choosing to live alongside them in different ways.
the kingdom has been directly blessed by the sun spirit, phoenix. they worship her as a patron goddess who provides them with her power and protection in return for their devotion and prayer. the dynamic between them is much like mother hen to brood. while other spirits are recognized, none are as holy as their patron.
the coven practices a broader religion, where all cats see the spirits as a pantheon and each personally build a relationship with a spirit of their choosing. this bond is much more detached, with contact being rare and prized among the coven's magical scholars. they spread the word of the good, neutral and evil that spirits are capable of.
learn more of the spirits and glimpse into their world with us at summer's end.
It's so awesome cool and progressive that the second result of looking up a trans woman on this site is a dedicated hate blog that specifically states "DNI if you defend this trans woman"
But it's okay guys, they put a sign saying "don't harass the tranny! Just let me collect all the reasons that she is unforgivable in one place :)"
It is incredibly telling that there isnt a massive anti-oneyplays fandom despite Smiling Friends being an equally popular show among tumblr queers and those guys actually doing everything gooseworx has been accused of and more "She joked about being the next Shadman!" wow that's crazy. Chris O'Neil housed Shadman and actively defended all the vile shit he did on twitter, including lolicon of real actual children. Why is nobody talking about this. Where is the anti oneyplays fan club. Or anti GameGrumps. Or (and this is a hot one) anti Dropout. Why is there only a hate club for the tranny. Why are the hate clubs only ever for the trannies? But of course, "DNI if you make it about her being trans, thats totally not why she became our target"
I would appreciate it if people reblogged this version that specifically calls out that none of the cis men in the same industry are held to the same standard even when they've done worse, continue to do worse and have not shown any sign of changing or regretting their past actions besides "I stopped saying the n word because people would get mad at me" and not because it's racist.
For god's sake the same people that deride Gooseworx on every social media site will sometimes straight up have Max "hotdiggitydemon" "Steven Jewniverse" "Steven N***averse" "Sans from Undertale calls Papyrus the nword" "Still actively racist" Gilardy profile pics with zero self reflection. And I'm supposed to take anything ever said about "holding trans women accountable " seriously? Gimme a break

Martina McBride didn't win Country Music Association Song of the Year for a song about how burning your house down with your abusive husband still inside it is good, noble, and an allegory for the American Revolution for people to act like the genre belongs to bootlicking fucks
other things people didn't do for you to act like country music belongs to bootlicking fucks:
Garth Brooks winning video of the year at the ACMs for a song about how none of us are free as long as there's racism and homophobia
Reba McEntire charting with a gothic horror song about an innocent man being executed by an incompetent judge and a corrupt sheriff
Willie Nelson being, well, his entire self tbh
Dolly Parton recording the hating capitalism banger of all time
Kacey Musgraves telling everyone to ignore the haters, smoke weed, and be a bisexual slut
how the hell did I leave Morgan Wade off this list. wrote a song about being depressed, alcoholic, and suicidal and how mental illness stigma sucks, saw how much people connected with it, wrote a Part II of that song about how she's doing better now but you're never totally free of the risk of relapse. fucking icon.
I specifically curated this list so people couldn't be like "ah yes but you see here is my simple binary of good and bad country music which always works", I made sure to add different genders, eras, subgenres, etc and y'all are still pulling that shit in the tags!
listen. Alan Jackson, the archetypal mister big hat man sitting on a tractor singing about a pickup truck, wrote a shockingly normal song about 9/11 that was like "yeah I don't know jack shit about politics but my copy of the bible says we're supposed to love everyone" and then went on the radio and explained how he specifically wanted to write a song about that day that "wasn't vengeful". Miranda Lambert took the southern leftist slogan "y'all means all" and made it the title of a corny ass pop-country song for the Queer Eye soundtrack. Kenny Chesney stole a horse from a cop and Tim McGraw put the cop in a chokehold defending him, and I know that's not about their music but it is, and this is very important, fucking sick as hell
it's fine if you only listen to female country artists or pre-1990 country artists or whatever the fuck you want but stop acting like you've cracked the secret code to dividing a whole genre of art into good pure anti-establishment folk songs vs bad corrupted right-wing sellout pulp
updating this post for 2025:
Luke Combs covering Fast Car and keeping the line "I work in the market as a checkout girl" and doing an interview about how he couldn't change a single word because it's not his story. king shit
Morgan Wallen doing I Had Some Help, literally the first song that spoke to me as a male survivor of domestic abuse. also shoutout to the guy for getting caught saying a racial slur and responding by specifically telling his fans not to defend him and raising a bunch of money for the Black Music Action Coalition. bro had an engraved invitation to the culture war and said "nah I'd rather be normal"
Shaboozey just absolutely obliterating the drunk roadhouse anthem glass ceiling
Maren Morris and Brothers Osborne with a song that okay, released in 2019 but I didn't hear until recently, about how good friends mind their own business and let you love whoever you want and also get high with you when you're broke
Kimberley Perry! If I Die Young Part 2!! "actually I'm glad I lived, bitch" ass song that I bet is gonna mean a LOT to kids fighting depression
Kelsea Ballerini and Noah Kahan with Cowboys Cry Too. okay it's shallow and corny but genuinely a shallow and corny song about how men shouldn't be afraid to have feelings is what a lot of men need
bringing the full version of this post back around because people are pissing me off today
"Human beings are being massacred, imprisoned, enslaved, tortured, starving and getting more cancer around the world but what about THE PUPPERINOS?!"
"Oh yeah, we have an outdoor Corgi, he just gets so bored cooped up inside all day. He knows to stay off the road. Don't worry, he's way too smart for coyotes and the neighbor's know to look out when they drive past."
"Us? Oh, of *course* our Dachshund sleeps inside- we just let him out in the morning and make sure he comes back for dinner. He just does his own thing, no worries."
"Um, you know it's not humane to keep a chihuahua confined to an apartment? They're dogs, they're natural predators. They need to experience hunting behaviors or they get depressed. No we don't leash ours, he absolutely hates it, we just let him come and go whenever."
Yall get how fucking stupid that sounds, right? So stop letting your goddamn cats get eaten and attacked and infected and hit by cars
A toddler would probably love full unattended access to the neighborhood too, but we don't do that either, do we
It's 2026, "keep your damn pet in a house or in your view" should not be controversial
i understand why the fire scene/po3 ashfur is often depicted this way as ashfur as a character is very easy to make fun of and use comedically and the majority of comparisons that would bring these aspects of him out the best are correlated with younger people but i do feel we are losing awareness of the fact that he was long fully grown in the arc and the scene. he was grown at the start of the arc beforehand! this is a middle aged man! he’s terrifying!
this is a large part of why red-streaked emo ashfur as always bothered me because if anyone his fear factor is what should be being played up for a faithful reconstruction of the scene. this isn’t akin to you reading a fourteen year old’s bad and melodramatic poetry, it’s you nodding your head along as your abusive father rants to you about his qanon conspiracy theories because you know if you don’t he’ll hurt you. it’s a man who asked you out at a bar following you out and lamenting to you while holding you at knifepoint after you turned him down. he is well into his adulthood and appears entirely normal to those around him - something that explicitly makes him more of a threat to the characters in the text, who doubt anyone would believe them if they came out about his actions. he’s well-liked, conservative, and holds social power over the people he’s threatening.
can i post my blade icons here

The largest mass shooting in American history was a hate crime against gay people. Don’t ever forget that.
June 12, 2016. Putting a date on this for when it gets reblogged months from now by people who think the post is about something from 30, 40 years ago.
I am a survivor of the Pulse nightclub shooting, having grown up in Orlando and just turned 20 a month prior. If you didn’t know, there were several families who refused to claim the bodies of their relatives due to their sexuality. One family even had their relative’s name removed from the memorial. Murdered by the same hate with which their families reject them in both life and death.
Many, many people celebrated Pulse. We were told we deserved it. That it was God’s punishment for our sin of loving the same sex. We are sent messages like these I received in 2018:
We in the community often call the victim count 49+ to include the survivors who couldn’t live with the pain.
The event was never officially declared a hate crime or targeted homophobic attack and is rarely listed as one in databases.
At our vigils for those slaughtered, Extremist Christian groups showed up to protest, holding signs like this:
ID: Me kissing a woman I was casually seeing in front of an angry looking man with a “Sodomy is Sin” sign.
Please understand how much more than just a mass shooting this was. We are still to this day harassed and told we deserved it by some.
This year was the sixth anniversary. The first couple years I received dozens of messages checking in on me on 6/12. Year 5 got enough news coverage for people to think to reach out to me. This year it was my therapist, the woman I kissed in that photo, and a couple of other gun violence survivor friends. People are forgetting already.
With the 7 year anniversary <2 weeks away, I figured I’d reblog this
Thank you so much to everyone who's pledged! We're SO CLOSE! Ivan WILL BE REAL! 🎉🎉🎉
