The 32nd Annual NYC Drag March
This year’s New York City Drag March was one of the largest since it started 32 years ago. These portraits were taken as the crowd made their rapturous descent upon the historic Stonewall Inn — kicking off a very busy Pride Weekend.

The wonderfully boisterous Woodstock Pride parade made its way through the small Hudson Valley town, ending at Colony—who hosted a jubilant LOVE IS THE REVOLUTION celebration!

Fingers The Artist
Fingers is one of the people who lives on the streets around 2nd Ave and who likes to come by and watch the mural being painted.
Despite being born with an underdeveloped hand and having Parkinson’s, Fingers loves to draw and leans into what his unsteady hand will produce. He’s also such a kind person that he gifted me with this drawing!
This is one of the joys of creating art in public; we get to connect with all kinds of people in so many wonderfully unexpected ways.

New Paltz Pride March & Festival
The New Paltz Pride Coalition hosted the 22nd Annual New Paltz Pride March and Festival in the charming Hudson Valley town of New Paltz.
This year's grand marshals were Stephen Hengst & Patrick Decker, founders of Big Gay Hudson Valley—who were honored for their work expanding LGBTQ+ visibility, joy, creativity, and connection throughout the Hudson Valley.

NYC Pride Mural By Little Ricky x It Gets Better
This is the 9th pride mural I have curated at 2nd Ave since the great Steve Stoppert so generously offered me the wall in 2019. Steve understood my passion for creating more visibility for Queer Street Art and was a huge supporter of my book and film, Out In The Streets.
This year I was so excited to have my dear friend Little Ricky from Los Angeles paint the wall. And even better, we got to work with LGBTQ+ youth from It Gets Better!
One of the missions of Out In The Streets is to build community and empower future generations—so both Ricky and I are so grateful to be manifesting that dream! What a truly magical way to kick of Pride Month!
Make art, build community, and get OUT IN THE STREETS.

We also had so many amazing visitors, including the decades long artist/activist Joe Ferrari and George Wittman—who assisted Keith Haring paint his 1989 mural, ‘Once Upon A Time’ at the LGBTQ Community Center.
